The problem

Escalations handled without knowing who the customer is

When a ServiceNow incident escalates, managers see the ticket but not the caller's account value, open deals or recent notes, which sit in the CRM. They end up pinging sales for context while the incident clock keeps running.

Without PopdockAI

  • Read the incident and find the caller
  • Ask sales who the customer is
  • Search the CRM for the company and deals
  • Decide urgency without the full picture

With PopdockAI

  • The incident and caller's email are read from ServiceNow
  • The caller is matched to an Attio contact by email
  • Company, open deals and recent notes are added to the brief
  • Read only, and it stops cleanly if there is no match

Prompt
**Objective:** Prepare an escalation brief for ServiceNow incident `{incident-number}`, adding customer context from Attio.

**Step 1: Read the incident**

Call `servicenow-get-incident` (ServiceNow server) with `number` set to `{incident-number}`. If nothing is returned, report that and stop. Note the short description, priority, state, assignment group and `caller`.

**Step 2: Identify the caller**

Call `servicenow-get-user` (ServiceNow server) with the caller as `name` or `user-id` (whichever matches what the incident returned). Take the user's `email`. If the user has no email, report that the caller cannot be matched to Attio and give the incident details only.

**Step 3: Find the contact in Attio**

Call `attio-get-record-people` (Attio server) with `email-addresses` set to that email. If there is no match, say the caller is not in Attio and stop after Step 1 and 2 details. Note the person's `record-id`, job title and `company`.

**Step 4: Gather account context**

Call `attio-get-record-companies` (Attio server) for the person's company, `attio-get-record-deals` (Attio server) for that company, and `attio-get-note` (Attio server) with `parent-record-id` set to the company's `record-id`, limiting to the most recent `{note-count}` notes (default 3).

**Step 5: Report**

1. Incident: number, short description, priority, state, opened, assignment group.
2. Caller: name, job title, company.
3. Account: employee range, estimated ARR if present, open deals with stage and value.
4. Recent notes: title and one-line summary each.
5. Suggested handling: one or two sentences on how the account value and open deals should affect urgency. Present this as a suggestion only.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `servicenow-get-incident` and `servicenow-get-user` are on the ServiceNow server. `attio-get-record-people`, `attio-get-record-companies`, `attio-get-record-deals` and `attio-get-note` are on the Attio server.
* This prompt only reads. Do not update the incident or any Attio record; do not call any `servicenow-update-*`, `servicenow-add-*`, `attio-update-*`, `attio-add-*`, `attio-upsert-*` or `attio-delete-*` tool.

**Validation:**

* Match caller to contact on email only.
* Quote note content briefly; do not reproduce long notes in full.
