**Objective:** Measure manufacturing scrap between `{from-date}` (default 90 days ago) and `{to-date}` (default today) for item `{item-number}` (default all) and identify where it is worst.
Pass `{company}` as `company` on every call (if it is empty, omit `company` and the default company is used). Pass a generous `max-records` (1000). If a result comes back with exactly that many rows, say the result may be truncated.
**Step 1: Work in process**
Call `dynamics-gp-get-mfg-work-in-process` with `wip-in-date.from` and `wip-in-date.to` (and `item-number` when given). Per row: `wip-quantity-in`, `wip-quantity-out`, `scrapped-quantity`, `unit-cost`, `material-unit-cost`, `labor-unit-cost`.
**Step 2: Measure**
* Scrap rate = scrapped quantity divided by quantity in.
* Scrap value = scrapped quantity times unit cost.
* Totals by `item-number` and by `manufacturing-order-number`.
**Step 3: Context**
For the ten orders with the highest scrap value, call `dynamics-gp-get-mfg-order` by `manufacturing-order` for description, status, `bom-type` and dates.
**Step 4: Report**
Headline scrap value and rate, a table by item (quantity in, scrapped, rate, value), the ten worst orders with context, and items whose scrap rate exceeds 5 percent.
