The problem

Long tickets lose their context at every hand over

Picking up a long Zendesk ticket means reading dozens of comments, internal notes, status changes and reassignments to work out who is waiting on whom. Hand overs suffer when that context is lost.

Without PopdockAI

  • Scroll through every comment and internal note
  • Piece together status changes from the audit log
  • Work out who is customer and who is agent
  • Reply without the full picture

With PopdockAI

  • Comments, audits, collaborators and attachments are read
  • Each author is labelled customer or agent
  • A dated timeline marks internal notes
  • Any draft reply never quotes internal notes

Prompt
**Objective:** Produce a clear history and current-state summary of Zendesk ticket `{ticket-id}`, ending with a recommended next step.

**Step 1: Load the ticket**

Call `zendesk-get-ticket` with ticket-id `{ticket-id}`. If nothing comes back, call `zendesk-get-suspended-ticket` with the same ticket-id; if it is there, report that it is suspended with its cause and stop. If neither returns anything, say the ticket was not found and stop.

**Step 2: Gather the conversation**

* Call `zendesk-get-ticket-comment` with ticket-id `{ticket-id}` and max-records 200. Sort by created-time.
* Call `zendesk-get-ticket-audit` with ticket-id `{ticket-id}` to see status, priority and assignee changes over time.
* Call `zendesk-get-ticket-collaborator` with ticket-id `{ticket-id}` to see who is copied in.
* If any comment has has-attachments true, call `zendesk-get-ticket-comment-attachment` with ticket-id `{ticket-id}` and list the file-name and content-type of each.

**Step 3: Name the authors**

Collect the distinct author-id values from the comments and audits and call `zendesk-get-user` with user-id for each (at most 10). Use name and role to label each comment as from the customer (end-user) or an agent. If a lookup fails, show the raw author-id.

**Step 4: Report**

1. Header: subject, status, priority, type, requester-name, organization-name, assignee-name, group-name, created-date, due-date.
2. The problem, in two or three sentences, from the first comment.
3. A dated timeline of the key moments: replies, internal notes (mark them as internal, where public is false), status and assignee changes.
4. Where it stands now: who is waiting on whom, and for how long since the last comment.
5. Recommended next step, and a draft reply if the customer is waiting on the team.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* This prompt is read-only. Do NOT call `zendesk-update-ticket`, `zendesk-add-ticket-comment`, `zendesk-make-ticket-comment-private` or any other add, update or make tool. A draft reply is text in the report, not a comment.
* Never quote an internal note in the draft reply.
* Summarize long comments; do not paste them in full.

**Validation:**

* If `{ticket-id}` is not a number, say so and stop.
* If there are no comments, report the header and audits only and say the conversation is empty.
