The problem

CRM contacts retyped into email lists

Getting CRM contacts onto an email list means exporting or retyping them, then hoping nobody is added twice or mailed without permission. Typos creep in and there is no quick way to see who is already on the list.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export or retype contacts from Nutshell
  • Search Constant Contact for each email
  • Add the missing ones by hand
  • Skip checking permission to market

With PopdockAI

  • The list name must match exactly one list
  • Each contact is checked in Constant Contact by email
  • You see who would be added and confirm permission
  • Each added address is read back, and Nutshell is never changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Add the Nutshell contacts owned by `{owner}` that are missing from Constant Contact to the Constant Contact list `{list-name}`, only after the user confirms the exact people.

**Step 1: Find the target list**

Call `constant-contact-get-contact-list` (Constant Contact server) with `name` set to the list name. If it does not match exactly one list, show the options and stop. Keep `list-id`.

**Step 2: Find the gap**

Call `nutshell-get-contact` (Nutshell server) with `owner.contains` set to the owner and `max-records` 25. For each contact with an email address call `constant-contact-get-contact` with `email-address`. Collect the contacts with no match. Keep their `name`, `job-title` and first email.

**Step 3: Confirm**

Show the table of people who would be added (name, email, job title, list). Say that adding a person to a list means they can be emailed, and ask the user to confirm that they have permission to market to them. Do not continue without an explicit yes. If the user removes rows, drop them.

**Step 4: Add**

For each confirmed person call `constant-contact-add-contact` (Constant Contact server) with `email`, `first-name`, `last-name`, `job-title` and `list-id`. Leave `permission-to-send` as the tool default unless the user stated otherwise.

**Step 5: Report**

Call `constant-contact-get-contact` for each added address to confirm it now exists, and report added, skipped and failed with the reason.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `constant-contact-add-contact` is the only write tool, and only after confirmation in Step 3. Never call `nutshell-update-person`, `nutshell-delete-person`, `constant-contact-update-contact` or `constant-contact-add-contact-list`.
* Nutshell tools (`nutshell-*`) are on the Nutshell server; `constant-contact-*` tools are on the Constant Contact server.

**Validation:**

* Skip contacts with no email and list them.
* Split a Nutshell name into first and last name at the last space; show the split in the confirmation.
* If the gap is empty, say so and stop without writing.
