The problem

Years of lists, tags and segments nobody cleans up

Constant Contact accounts collect near-copy lists from imports, forgotten test lists and segments untouched for a year. Sorting out which are empty, stale or duplicated means scrolling through every one and comparing names by eye.

Without PopdockAI

  • Scroll through every list, tag and segment
  • Compare names and counts by eye
  • Guess which ones are still in use
  • Leave the clutter because it takes too long

With PopdockAI

  • Every list, tag and segment is read in one pass
  • Empty, stale, unused and lookalike names are flagged
  • Favorite lists are noted as deliberate
  • Each section ends with a recommendation, and nothing changes

Prompt
**Objective:** Audit the account's contact lists, tags and segments and list what should be cleaned up. Treat anything not updated in `{stale-days}` days (default 365) as stale.

**Step 1: Read everything**

* Call `constant-contact-get-contact-list` with a high `max-records`.
* Call `constant-contact-get-contact-tag` with a high `max-records`.
* Call `constant-contact-get-segment` with a high `max-records`.

**Step 2: Check each against the rules**

Contact lists:

* empty: active-members is 0
* tiny: active-members under 10
* undocumented: description is blank
* stale: updated-date older than `{stale-days}` days (365 if blank)
* near-duplicates: names that differ only by case, spacing, punctuation, a year or a word like copy, old, test or new

Tags:

* unused: number-of-contacts is 0
* near-duplicates by name, as for lists
* note the tag-source of each group of duplicates, since imports often create them

Segments:

* stale: updated-date older than the stale threshold
* near-duplicates by name

**Step 3: Report**

One section each for lists, tags and segments. In each, a table of the entries that broke a rule: name, the rule broken, the relevant value (members, contacts, last updated). Then totals: how many checked, how many flagged. End with a short recommended action per group (merge, rename, add a description, retire).

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* This is read-only. Do not call `constant-contact-update-contact-list`, `constant-contact-update-contact-tag`, `constant-contact-add-contact-list`, `constant-contact-add-contact-tag` or any other add or update tool. The tools cannot delete lists or tags, so do not offer to.
* A favorite list is deliberate; flag it but say it is marked favorite.

**Validation:**

* If a read returns nothing, say so for that section.
* If nothing is flagged, say the account is clean and give the counts checked.
