The problem

Did that web order ever reach NetSuite

Confirming that a BigCommerce order became a NetSuite sales order means searching both systems by customer, date and total. A missing or duplicate customer, or a total a few cents off, is easy to overlook, and cancelled orders look like gaps.

Without PopdockAI

  • Open the order in BigCommerce
  • Search NetSuite by customer and date
  • Compare totals and lines by eye
  • Chase cancelled orders that were never meant to sync

With PopdockAI

  • The order and lines are read, and the customer found by billing email
  • A sales order with the same total is searched for in the window
  • Totals and lines are compared by SKU, within a cent
  • Cancelled orders are called expected gaps, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Check that BigCommerce order `{order-id}` reached NetSuite, looking for a sales order within `{window-days}` days (default 7) of the order date.

**Prerequisite:** this prompt needs both the bigcommerce and netsuite MCP servers connected alongside this one. If a tool below is not available, say which server is missing and stop.

**Step 1: Read the order**

Call `bigcommerce-get-order` (bigcommerce server) with `id` set to `{order-id}`. Keep `date-created`, `total-including-tax`, `billing-email`, `customer-id`, `status` and `payment-status`. Then call `bigcommerce-get-order-product` with `order-id` set to `{order-id}` and keep `sku`, `quantity` and `total-including-tax` per line. If the order is not found, stop.

**Step 2: Find the customer in NetSuite**

Call `netsuite-get-customer` (netsuite server) with `email` set to the order's `billing-email`. If none, report the customer as missing from NetSuite and stop. If more than one, list them and stop.

**Step 3: Find the sales order**

Call `netsuite-get-salesorder` with `customer-id` set to the NetSuite `internal-id`, `date.from` and `date.to` set to the order date minus and plus `{window-days}` days, and `total.min` and `total.max` both set to the BigCommerce order total. If nothing matches on total, repeat without the total filters and list the candidates.

**Step 4: Report**

Order summary, the NetSuite customer, the matching sales order (`document-number`, `date`, `total`, `status`) or "no sales order found", and the difference in totals. For line items, call `netsuite-get-salesorderitem` with `document-number` and compare its `item-number` values against the BigCommerce SKUs.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Read only. Never call `netsuite-add-salesorder`, `netsuite-update-salesorder` or any bigcommerce add, update or delete tool.

**Validation:**

* An order with status Incomplete or Cancelled is expected to be absent from NetSuite: say so.
* If totals differ by less than 0.01, call it a match.
