Reps add a new company and its first contact by hand and often skip checking whether either exists. The result is duplicate companies, duplicate people and a contact not tied to any account.

The prompt
Use this prompt
Copy it into any AI tool connected to PopdockAI. Swap the values in braces for your own.
**Objective:** Add the company {company-name} and, if given, the person {person-name} to Nutshell without creating duplicates.
**Step 1: Check for existing records**
Call
utshell-get-account with
ame.contains set to {company-name}. If {person-name} is given, call
utshell-get-contact with
ame.contains set to it. If any match exists, list the matches and ask the user whether to use the existing record or create a new one. Do not create until they answer.
**Step 2: Confirm**
Show exactly what will be created (company name, {description} if given, person name) and ask the user to confirm.
**Step 3: Create**
Only after confirmation, call
utshell-add-company with name and description, then
utshell-add-person with name (split into first-name and last-name when clear) and description. Note that
utshell-add-person has no company field, so tell the user the person is not linked to the company and must be linked in Nutshell.
**Step 4: Verify**
Call
utshell-get-account and
utshell-get-contact again by name and report the new ids.

utshell-add-person may write. Never call update or delete tools.
* Create nothing without explicit confirmation.
