See cash shortfalls weeks before they happen
For finance teams who want a week by week cash forecast from Business Central balances, receivables and payables, by asking their AI assistant.

The problem
Overdue receivables make the cash picture look better than it is
Knowing whether you will have enough cash means adding bank balances to customer invoices due and subtracting vendor invoices due, week by week. From Business Central screens it is slow, and overdue receivables make it look rosier than it is.
Without PopdockAI
- Pull bank balances, receivables and payables
- Bucket each invoice into weeks in a spreadsheet
- Count overdue receivables as cash this week
- Find the shortfall when it arrives
With PopdockAI
- Bank balances and invoices due are read per currency
- Overdue receivables are shown apart, not counted as cash
- Overdue payables count as due now
- The first week under minimum balances is called out, and nothing is changed

**Objective:** Project the cash position for the next `{weeks}` weeks (default 4), week by week, from bank balances, receivables due and payables due.
Pass `{company}` as the company argument on every call. If `{company}` is empty, leave the company argument out so the connector's default company is used.
**Step 1: Opening cash**
Call `business-central-get-bank-account` with blocked false. Sum balance per currency-code. Note any account below minimum-balance.
**Step 2: Expected receipts**
Call `business-central-get-posted-sales-invoice` with remaining-amount.min 0.01 and due-date.to set to the end of the window. Raise max-records to 1000. Put already overdue invoices in a separate "overdue, timing uncertain" line rather than week 1.
**Step 3: Expected payments**
Call `business-central-get-posted-purchase-invoice` with closed false and due-date.to set to the end of the window. Treat overdue payables as due in week 1.
**Step 4: Open orders (indicative)**
Call `business-central-get-purchase-transaction` with document-type Order and read total-outstanding-amount and expected-receipt-date; call `business-central-get-sales-transaction` with document-type Order and read total-outstanding-amount and requested-delivery-date. Show these as indicative only, since they are not invoiced yet.
**Step 5: Report**
* A table per currency: week start, opening cash, receipts due, payments due, closing cash
* Overdue receivables shown separately, not counted in the weeks
* The indicative order pipeline under the table
* The first week in which closing cash drops below the total minimum-balance, if any
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call any tool named business-central-create-* or business-central-update-*.
* This is a due-date forecast, not a prediction of customer behaviour. Say so in one line.
**Validation:**
* If there are no bank accounts, report receipts and payments only and say opening cash is unknown.Who it's for

Ask
You choose how many weeks to look ahead, four by default.
02
Read
It reads bank balances, customer invoices due and vendor invoices due.
03
