The problem

Pipeline totals hide the deals that need attention

Pipeline reviews often focus on the total and miss overdue closes, deals stalled far beyond their usual cycle and value likely to close this month. Spotting them means checking every opportunity against its sales cycle.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export open opportunities
  • Check each one against its sales cycle
  • Weight value by stage in a spreadsheet
  • Miss the deal stalled for months

With PopdockAI

  • Value is totalled by status and salesperson
  • The pipeline is weighted by each stage's chance of success
  • Overdue, stalled and soon closing deals are listed
  • A headline and view by salesperson, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Review the open sales pipeline, optionally for salesperson `{salesperson}`, and say which deals need attention.

Pass `{company}` as the company argument on every call. If `{company}` is empty, leave the company argument out so the connector's default company is used.

**Step 1: Salesperson**

If `{salesperson}` is given, call `business-central-get-salesperson` with name.contains set to it (or salesperson-code if it looks like a code). If several match, list them and stop.

**Step 2: Open opportunities**

Call `business-central-get-opportunity` with closed false, and salesperson-code when one was chosen. Raise max-records to 500.

**Step 3: Stages**

For each distinct sales-cycle-code call `business-central-get-sales-cycle` with sales-cycle-code for its description, and `business-central-get-sales-cycle-stage` with sales-cycle-code to learn the stages, their chances-of-success and average-number-of-days.

**Step 4: Analyse**

* Estimated-value and current-value totals, and value by status and by salesperson
* Overdue: estimated-closing-date before today
* Closing soon: estimated-closing-date in the next 30 days
* Stalled: creation-date more than twice the sales cycle's typical duration ago and still not closed
* Weighted pipeline: sum of estimated-value times chances-of-success

**Step 5: Report**

* Headline: open deals, total value, weighted value
* By salesperson: deals, value, weighted value, overdue count
* Overdue and stalled deals: number, description, contact company, salesperson, value, estimated close
* Deals closing in the next 30 days

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* This prompt is read-only. Do not call any tool named business-central-create-* or business-central-update-*, in particular not `business-central-update-opportunity` or `business-central-create-opportunity`.

**Validation:**

* If there are no open opportunities, say so and stop.
