Explain what moved any GL account, and why
For accountants who want a Dynamics GP GL account's movement traced to its source documents, by asking their AI assistant.

The problem
A GL account jumped and nobody can say why
When a Dynamics GP account moves unexpectedly, explaining it means reading period balances, scrolling transactions and tracing each one to its source. The summary and the detail often disagree, and working out why takes longer still.
Without PopdockAI
- Read period balances for the account
- Scroll every transaction in the range
- Trace each entry back to its module and document
- Puzzle over why summary and detail disagree
With PopdockAI
- Period balances and every transaction in the range are read
- Movement is totalled by module and source document
- The ten largest entries come with their originating documents
- Gaps between detail and balances are explained, with nothing changed

**Objective:** Explain the movement in GL account `{account}` between `{from-date}` (default the first day of this month) and `{to-date}` (default today): how much it moved, which entries drove it, and which modules they came from.
Pass `{company}` as `company` on every call (if it is empty, omit `company` and the default company is used). Pass a generous `max-records` (1000). If a result comes back with exactly that many rows, say the result may be truncated.
**Step 1: Identify the account**
Call `dynamics-gp-get-gl-account` with `account-number` set to `{account}`. If that returns nothing, call it again with `account-description.contains` set to `{account}`. If more than one account matches, list number, description and account type and stop. Note the `posting-type` (balance sheet or profit and loss), `typical-balance` and `active`.
**Step 2: Period balances**
Call `dynamics-gp-get-gl-account-summary` filtered by `account-number` and the `year` (or years) the range falls in. List `debit-amount`, `credit-amount` and `period-balance` for each `period-id` in range.
**Step 3: Transactions**
Call `dynamics-gp-get-gl-account-transaction` filtered by `account-number`, `transaction-date.from` and `transaction-date.to`.
* Net movement = total debits minus total credits (reverse the sign if `typical-balance` is credit, and say you did).
* Group by `series` and `source-document` with totals.
* The ten largest entries by absolute amount: date, journal entry, description, reference, originating document number, originating master name.
* Flag entries that look unusual: round amounts, entries on a weekend, a journal entry that both debits and credits this account, or a series that does not normally post here.
**Step 4: Reconcile**
Compare the net movement from Step 3 with the period balances from Step 2. If they differ, say by how much and give the likely reasons (entries outside the date range but inside the period, unposted or historical-year entries). Do not force them to agree.
**Step 5: Report**
Account header line, the period table, movement by series, the top-ten table, flagged entries, and the reconciliation note.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Read-only. Do not call `dynamics-gp-gl-account-transaction-add`, `dynamics-gp-gl-account-update`, `dynamics-gp-gl-account-note` or any tool whose name does not contain `get`.
* An unusual entry is a question to ask, not an error. Word it that way.
**Validation:**
* If the account is inactive, say so before anything else.
* If there are no transactions in the range, report the period balances only.Who it's for
