The problem

Questions on collections wait days for an answer

Questions left as comments on Postman collections wait until someone finds them. Answering well means locating the thread, reading it from the start, and replying inside it rather than starting a new one the asker will never connect.

Without PopdockAI

  • Hunt for the question across collections
  • Read the thread from the start
  • Reply in a new comment by mistake
  • Promise something nobody agreed to

With PopdockAI

  • The thread is found, with a choice if several match
  • The whole thread is read in order
  • A short draft answers the last open point if you gave no reply
  • It posts once, in that thread, after you confirm

Prompt
**Objective:** Post `{reply}` as a reply in the comment thread on collection `{collection-name}` that contains `{comment-search}`. If `{reply}` is empty, draft one from the thread for the user to approve.

**Step 1: Find the thread**

Call `postman-get-collection-comments` with `collection-name` = `{collection-name}` (fall back to `collection-name.contains` if nothing matches) and `comment.contains` = `{comment-search}`. If `{comment-search}` is empty, take the most recent comments on the collection. Keep collection-uid, thread-id, comment-id, comment, created-by and created-at.

If more than one thread matches, list them (thread-id, who, when, first 80 characters) and ask which one. Do not guess.

**Step 2: Read the whole thread**

Call `postman-get-collection-comments` with `thread-id` set to the chosen thread to read every comment in order.

**Step 3: Prepare the reply**

Use `{reply}` as given. If it is empty, draft a short, direct answer to the last unanswered point in the thread. Do not promise changes nobody has agreed to.

**Step 4: Confirm, then post**

Show the collection name, the thread's last comment, and the exact reply text. Ask the user to confirm. Only after a clear yes, call `postman-add-collection-comment` once with `collection-uid` from Step 1, `thread-id` of the thread and `comment` = the reply.

**Step 5: Report**

Confirm it was posted, with collection name and thread-id. If the tool returned an error, show it and do not retry automatically.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `postman-add-collection-comment` may be called once, only after confirmation, and always with a thread-id. Never start a new thread from this prompt.
* Do NOT call `postman-update-collection-comment`; this prompt never edits someone's existing comment.
* Use collection-uid (owner and id joined by a hyphen) from the comments read. Never build it by hand.

**Validation:**

* If no comment matches, list the collection's latest five threads and stop.
* If the user changes the reply text, show the new text and confirm again before posting.
