Review Freshdesk agent workload
Review how open tickets are spread across the Tier 2 Support group in Freshdesk.
Tier 2 Support has 41 open tickets, and the load is uneven. - Sam Patel: 16 open, 5 urgent or high, 2 escalated, about double the team average of 8 - Dana Whitfield: 14 open, 3 urgent or high, 1 escalated - Raj Mehta: 2 open, available, with room for more - Unassigned: 9 tickets I suggest moving 4 of Sam's lower priority tickets to Raj. The problem

One agent drowns while another sits idle

Ticket load is judged by eye from the Freshdesk queue, so one agent carries urgent and escalated tickets while an available colleague has almost nothing. Counting per agent takes a manual tally few have time for.

Without PopdockAI

  • Filter the queue agent by agent
  • Count urgent, high and escalated tickets
  • Check who is available today
  • Rebalance by gut feel

With PopdockAI

  • Active agents are read, leaving out deactivated ones
  • Open, urgent or high, escalated and unassigned tickets are counted
  • Overloaded and available agents are called out
  • Moves are suggested, and nothing is reassigned

Prompt
**Objective:** Review how open tickets are spread across the agents in the group named {group-name} (if empty, all active agents).

**Step 1: Establish the team**

Call `freshdesk-get-agents` with `deactivated` false. If {group-name} is given, call `freshdesk-get-groups` filtered by `name.contains` first (stop if ambiguous) and keep only agents listed for that group where the data allows.

**Step 2: Count the load**

Call `freshdesk-get-tickets` for open tickets, filtered by `group-id` when a group was chosen. Count per `responder-id`, and note how many are Urgent or High and how many are escalated. Count unassigned tickets separately.

**Step 3: Report**

A table of agent, available yes or no, open tickets, urgent or high, escalated. Then name agents carrying well above the average and agents with little or no load who are available, and suggest which tickets could move. Suggestions only.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Never call any write tool: `freshdesk-add-ticket`, `freshdesk-update-ticket`, `freshdesk-delete-ticket`, `freshdesk-add-ticket-note`, `freshdesk-reply-to-ticket`, `freshdesk-add-contact`, `freshdesk-update-contact`, `freshdesk-delete-contact`, `freshdesk-add-company`, `freshdesk-update-company`, `freshdesk-delete-company`, `freshdesk-add-group`, `freshdesk-update-group`, `freshdesk-delete-group`, `freshdesk-add-time-entry`, `freshdesk-update-time-entry` or `freshdesk-delete-time-entry`. This job is read-only.
* Do not reassign anything; only recommend.

**Validation:**

* If no agents or no tickets are found, say so and stop.

Support team leads

Rebalance the queue in minutes

See who is well above average and who has room, with suggested tickets to move.

Who in the Billing group has the most open urgent tickets, and who has capacity to take some?

Support managers

Spot burnout risk early

Agents carrying many escalations stand out in the workload table before it becomes a problem.

Show open, high priority and escalated Freshdesk tickets per agent across all groups.

Check unassigned work before shift change

The unassigned count tells you how much work is waiting for an owner.

How many open Freshdesk tickets are unassigned right now, and which available agents could take them?
