The problem

Recurring complaints never reach the catalog owners

Support cases about a product sit in NetSuite while the product content sits in Akeneo, so recurring complaints never reach the catalog owners. Linking a case to a product means finding the NetSuite item first, then searching cases by its internal id.

Without PopdockAI

  • Look up the product in Akeneo
  • Find the matching item in NetSuite
  • Search cases by the item's internal id
  • Read every case to spot the pattern

With PopdockAI

  • The product is read from Akeneo by SKU
  • The NetSuite item and its cases are found
  • Cases are listed newest first with recurring themes
  • Catalog fields to review are suggested, nothing changed

Prompt
**Objective:** List the NetSuite support cases raised against the Akeneo product with SKU {sku}, and say what they suggest should change in the catalog record.

**Step 1: Read the catalog record (akeneo)**

Call `akeneo-get-product` with identifier set to {sku}. If it returns nothing or more than one product, report that and stop. Keep product-name, short-description, enabled, family and brand.

**Step 2: Find the ERP item (netsuite)**

Call `netsuite-get-item` with item-number set to the SKU and keep its internal-id. If no item matches, report the product as absent from NetSuite and stop.

**Step 3: Read the cases (netsuite)**

Call `netsuite-get-case` with item-id set to that internal-id. Keep case-number, title, type, start-date and description for each case.

**Step 4: Report**

Lead with the product name and short description. Then a table of case number, date, type and title, newest first, followed by a short list of recurring themes (for example wrong specification or unclear description). Suggest catalog fields to review, but do not change anything.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Tools starting akeneo- are on the akeneo server (the product catalog, PIM). Tools starting netsuite- are on the netsuite server (the ERP). Both servers must be connected.
* The join key is the Akeneo product identifier (the SKU) and the NetSuite item-number. Compare them exactly first, then trimmed and case-insensitive; report any record that only matches that loose way as a format mismatch rather than a match.
* This prompt is read-only. Never call any akeneo-add-*, akeneo-update-*, akeneo-delete-*, akeneo-submit-* or akeneo-start-* tool, and never call any netsuite-add-* or netsuite-update-* tool.
* The item-id on a case is the NetSuite item internal-id, not the SKU, so always carry internal-id across from `netsuite-get-item`.

**Validation:**

* If no cases are returned, say there are no cases for this item.
* Do not infer a cause the case text does not state.

Who it's for

One answer, three teams that use it

Product content managers

Fix the content customers ask about

Recurring case themes point to the catalog fields worth reviewing in Akeneo.

What are customers raising in NetSuite cases about SKU HB-220, and which Akeneo fields should I review?

Support managers

Send product feedback upstream

Give catalog owners a list of cases and themes for one product instead of anecdotes.

List NetSuite support cases for SKU LMP-077 newest first with the recurring themes.

Merchandisers

Check a product before promoting it

See whether a product has a run of support cases before you feature it.

Are there any NetSuite support cases for SKU CH-3310 in Akeneo's catalog?

How it works

What PopdockAI does when you ask

You give a SKU and your AI assistant links the Akeneo product to its NetSuite cases. It does not infer causes the case text does not state, and changes neither system.
