The problem

Status updates built by counting cards

Writing a TickTick project update means opening the board, counting tasks in each column, checking overdue and upcoming work and turning it into a paragraph. It is slow, and the counts are easy to get wrong.

Without PopdockAI

  • Open the board and count each column
  • Check overdue and upcoming tasks by hand
  • Tally tasks per assignee
  • Write a summary from the counts

With PopdockAI

  • The project is found, stopping if the name is ambiguous
  • Columns, open tasks and recent completions are read
  • Overdue, upcoming and unassigned work is counted
  • Risks and a stakeholder summary are written, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Write a status report for the project {project-name} as of {as-of-date}.

**Step 1: Resolve the project**

Call `ticktick-get-projects` with `name.contains` set to {project-name} and `closed` false. If more than one matches, list them and stop. Note the `id`.

**Step 2: Columns**

Call `ticktick-get-columns` with that `project-id`, ordered by `sort-order`.

**Step 3: Tasks**

Call `ticktick-get-tasks` with that `project-id`. Also call `ticktick-get-completed-tasks` with the same `project-id` for recent completions.

**Step 4: Report**

* Tasks per column and open versus completed counts.
* Overdue tasks as of {as-of-date}, and tasks due in the next 7 days.
* Unassigned tasks and tasks per `assignee`.
* Risks and a one-paragraph summary a stakeholder could read.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* This prompt is read-only. Never call `ticktick-add-task`, `ticktick-update-task`, `ticktick-complete-task`, `ticktick-complete-multiple-tasks`, `ticktick-batch-tasks`, `ticktick-move-task`, `ticktick-assign-task`, `ticktick-unassign-task`, `ticktick-delete-task`, `ticktick-add-comment`, `ticktick-delete-comment`, `ticktick-add-project`, `ticktick-update-project`, `ticktick-delete-project`, `ticktick-add-column`, `ticktick-update-column`, `ticktick-add-project-group`, `ticktick-update-project-group`, `ticktick-delete-project-group`, `ticktick-add-tag`, `ticktick-add-focus-session` or `ticktick-delete-focus-session`.

**Validation:**

* If no project matches, say so and stop.
* If the project has no columns, group by status instead.
