The problem
One product's performance spread across five reports
Answering how one WooCommerce product is doing means adding up its sales, splitting them by variation, checking refunds and reviews and comparing stock with demand. Each piece lives in a different report.
Without PopdockAI
- Add up sales for the product
- Split them by variation
- Check refunds and reviews separately
- Compare stock with demand by hand
With PopdockAI
- The product or variation is identified, listing candidates if needed
- Units, revenue, orders and trend are reported
- Refunds, reviews, ranking and stock cover are added
- Two or three observations close it, and nothing is changed

**Objective:** Analyze how the product `{product}` (a SKU or a name) has performed over the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 90).
**Step 1: Identify the product**
1. Call `woocommerce-get-product` with `sku` = `{product}`.
2. If nothing matches, call `woocommerce-get-product-variation` with `sku` = `{product}`. A match is a variation: keep its `product-id` (the parent) and `product-variation-id`.
3. If still nothing, call `woocommerce-get-product` with `name.contains` = `{product}`. If that returns more than one, list name, SKU and id, and stop.
Keep the product id, `name`, `type`, prices, `stock-quantity`, `stock-status`, `average-rating` and `total-sales`. For a `variable` product, call `woocommerce-get-product-variation` with `product-id` to list its variations.
**Step 2: Sales**
Call `woocommerce-get-order-line` with `line-product-id` = the product id and `date-created.from` = today minus `{lookback-days}` days. If the match was a variation, use `line-sku` = its SKU instead. Keep lines whose `order-status` is `processing`, `completed` or `on-hold`.
* Units, revenue (`line-total`), orders, distinct customers, average selling price.
* Trend: compare the first and second half of the period.
* For a variable product: units and revenue per `line-sku`.
**Step 3: Refunds, reviews, ranking**
* `woocommerce-get-refund-line` with `line-item-product-id` (or `line-item-sku` for a variation) and `created-date.from`: refunded units and amount; refund rate = refunded units / units sold.
* `woocommerce-get-product-review` with `product-id` and `created-date.from`: count, average `rating`, and the text of any rated 2 or below.
* `woocommerce-get-report-top-sellers` with `product-id`: whether it appears in the store's top sellers. That report's period is fixed by the connector, so label it as such.
**Step 4: Report**
1. Headline: units, revenue and the trend direction.
2. Product facts: name, SKU, type, price, stock, all-time `total-sales`, overall rating.
3. Sales table for the period, and the per-variation split for a variable product.
4. Refunds and reviews, with any low review quoted briefly.
5. Stock cover: stock / (units / `{lookback-days}`), in days.
6. Two or three observations, e.g. a variation that is selling out, a rising refund rate, a sale price that has not lifted units.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call any write tool: `woocommerce-add-order`, `woocommerce-update-order`, `woocommerce-add-order-note`, `woocommerce-send-order-details`, `woocommerce-add-refund`, `woocommerce-add-customer`, `woocommerce-update-customer`, `woocommerce-add-product`, `woocommerce-update-product`, `woocommerce-update-product-variation`, `woocommerce-add-coupon`, `woocommerce-update-coupon`.
* To change the price or stock, point the user to the update-product-by-sku prompt.
* If the rows carry more than one `currency`, report each currency separately. Never add amounts across currencies.
**Validation:**
* If nothing matches `{product}` by SKU or name, say so and stop.
* If `{lookback-days}` is empty or not a number, use 90.Who it's for
