The problem
Stripe fees never arrive as bills in Rillet
Stripe takes its fees before paying out, so they never arrive as bills in Rillet. Booking them means totalling fees across balance transactions per currency, allowing for fee refunds and making sure the same period is not booked twice.
Without PopdockAI
- Export balance transactions for the period
- Total fees per currency, minus fee refunds
- Check the period has not been booked already
- Write a journal entry for each currency
With PopdockAI
- Both accounts are checked and past entries looked for
- Fees are summed per currency, with fee refunds as reductions
- Sources are shown by transaction type
- One balanced entry per currency is booked after you confirm

**Objective:** Total the Stripe fees on balance transactions from {from-date} to {to-date} and, after the user confirms, book them in Rillet as one journal entry per currency: debit {fee-account-code}, credit {clearing-account-code}.
**Step 1: Check the accounts**
Call `rillet-get-accounts` with `account-code` = {fee-account-code}, then again with `account-code` = {clearing-account-code}. If either is missing, say which and stop.
**Step 2: Check it has not been booked**
Call `rillet-get-journal-entries` (no filters) and look for an entry named Stripe fees {from-date} to {to-date}. If one exists, report its journal-id and date and stop.
**Step 3: Total the fees**
Call `stripe-get-balance-transaction` with `created.from` = {from-date} and `created.to` = {to-date}. Sum the fee field per currency, counting negative fees (fee refunds) as reductions. Also count the transactions per type so the user can see where the fees came from.
**Step 4: Preview and confirm**
For each currency with a non-zero total, show the proposed entry: name, date {to-date}, line 1 debit {fee-account-code} for the total, line 2 credit {clearing-account-code} for the same total, plus the per-type counts. Ask the user to confirm. Write nothing until they say yes.
**Step 5: Book**
For each confirmed currency call `rillet-add-journal-entry` with name = Stripe fees {from-date} to {to-date} (add the currency code when there is more than one), date = {to-date}, currency in upper case, line 1 = debit {fee-account-code}, line 2 = credit {clearing-account-code}, both lines for the total in that currency, and a description of Stripe processing fees. Use the side values the tool's schema lists. Debits must equal credits. If the total is negative, swap the sides and say so.
**Step 6: Confirm**
Call `rillet-get-journal-entries` again and check each entry is present by name. Report its journal-id.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* `stripe-get-balance-transaction` is on the stripe server and is read-only. The other tools named here are on the rillet server.
* The only tool that may write is `rillet-add-journal-entry`, and only after the Step 4 confirmation.
* Do not call `rillet-update-journal-entry` or `rillet-add-account`.
**Validation:**
* If Stripe returns no balance transactions or every fee is zero, say there is nothing to book and stop.
* Stripe may return amounts in the smallest currency unit. If fees look 100 times too large for the transaction amounts, divide by 100 and say so in the preview.
* If a tool cannot be found, name the server it belongs to (rillet or stripe) and stop.Who it's for
