The problem

Gifts post to ledger accounts that no longer exist

Fund to ledger mappings drift between Bloomerang and the NetSuite chart of accounts, so gifts post to the wrong account or one that no longer exists. Finding out means searching NetSuite for each fund's GL class one at a time.

Without PopdockAI

  • List funds and their GL class in Bloomerang
  • Search NetSuite for each account
  • Check the account type by hand
  • Find the problem after gifts post

With PopdockAI

  • Each active fund's GL class is read
  • NetSuite is searched by account number, then by name
  • Each fund is labelled Matched, Name-only, No account or No GL class
  • Non-income types are flagged, multiple matches listed, nothing changed

Prompt
**Objective:** For active Bloomerang funds matching `{fund-name}` (leave empty for all), check that each fund's `general-ledger-class` points to an account that exists in NetSuite.

**Step 1: Read the funds (Bloomerang)**

Call `bloomerang-get-fund` with `active` set to true and, if `{fund-name}` is not empty, `name.contains` set to it. Keep `id`, `name` and `general-ledger-class`.

**Step 2: Look up the accounts (NetSuite)**

For each distinct `general-ledger-class` value, call `netsuite-get-account` with `account-number` set to that value. If nothing returns, call `netsuite-get-account` with `account-name.contains` set to it. Keep `account-number`, `account-name`, `account-type` and `internal-id`.

**Step 3: Report**

Return a table: fund, GL class, matched NetSuite account (number and name), account type, status. Status is one of Matched, Name-only match, No account found, or No GL class set. List funds that need attention first, and any funds sharing one account.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Tools whose names start with netsuite are on the NetSuite server and tools whose names start with bloomerang are on the Bloomerang server. If either server is not connected, say which one and stop.
* Do not call any add or update tool on either server (the NetSuite and Bloomerang tools named add-... or update-...). This prompt only reads.

**Validation:**

* If a GL class matches several accounts, list them and do not choose.
* Report a fund mapped to a non-income account type as a possible error.
