The problem

Fundraising and ERP campaign totals rarely agree

Fundraising totals live in Bloomerang while campaign revenue lives in NetSuite, and the two are compared by copying figures into a spreadsheet. They rarely agree, and the date ranges behind each number often differ.

Without PopdockAI

  • Look up the campaign in Bloomerang
  • Find the same campaign in NetSuite
  • Copy figures into a spreadsheet
  • Miss that the date ranges differ

With PopdockAI

  • The campaign is found in Bloomerang with goal, raised and dates
  • The same-named NetSuite campaign gives revenue, cost and profit
  • The difference and percent of goal are shown, gaps over 5 percent first
  • Different dates are noted, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Compare what Bloomerang says the campaign `{campaign-name}` raised with the revenue NetSuite reports for a campaign of the same name.

**Step 1: Read Bloomerang**

Call `bloomerang-get-campaign` with `name.contains` set to `{campaign-name}`. Keep `id`, `name`, `goal`, `raised`, `start-date`, `end-date` and `active`. If several campaigns match, list them and stop.

**Step 2: Read NetSuite**

Call `netsuite-get-campaign` with `title.contains` set to the Bloomerang campaign `name`. Keep `title`, `revenue`, `total-cost`, `profit`, `start-date`, `end-date` and `number-of-purchasers`.

**Step 3: Report**

Show a side-by-side table: name, dates, Bloomerang `raised` and `goal`, NetSuite `revenue`, `total-cost` and `profit`. Give the difference between `raised` and `revenue` and the percentage of goal reached. Note any date range that differs.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Tools whose names start with netsuite are on the NetSuite server and tools whose names start with bloomerang are on the Bloomerang server. If either server is not connected, say which one and stop.
* Do not call any add or update tool on either server (the NetSuite and Bloomerang tools named add-... or update-...). This prompt only reads.

**Validation:**

* If NetSuite has no campaign with a similar title, report the Bloomerang figures alone and say there is no NetSuite campaign to compare.
* If the two totals differ by more than 5 percent, say so first.
