The problem

Ramp codes spend to Business Central accounts that do not work

Ramp GL accounts are synced to a chart that drifts from Business Central. Spend gets coded to accounts that are missing, blocked or closed to direct posting, and the problem shows up only when the sync or posting fails.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export active GL accounts from Ramp
  • Look up each code in Business Central
  • Check whether it is blocked or allows direct posting
  • Compare the two lists line by line

With PopdockAI

  • Active Ramp GL accounts looked up in Business Central
  • Missing, blocked, non-posting and renamed accounts reported
  • Name differences not treated as mismatches when codes agree
  • A ranked fix list, and nothing changed

Prompt
**Objective:** For Ramp GL accounts whose name contains `{account-name}` (default: all active, up to 200), confirm each code exists in the Business Central chart of accounts and allows posting. Read-only.

**Step 1: Read Ramp accounts**

Call `ramp-get-accounting-gl-account` (Ramp server) with `name.contains` set to `{account-name}` when given and `max-records` 200. Keep `code`, `name`, `classification`, `active`. Drop inactive accounts.

**Step 2: Read Business Central accounts**

For each Ramp account with a `code`, call `business-central-get-account` (Business Central server) with `account-number` set to that code. If the code is empty, call it with `name` set to the Ramp name instead and mark the match as by name only.

**Step 3: Report**

Tables for: codes not found in Business Central; found but `blocked`; found but `direct-posting` false; found with a different name or a different account category than the Ramp classification suggests; Ramp accounts with no code. Finish with counts and the top fixes by importance.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `ramp-get-accounting-gl-account` is on the Ramp server; `business-central-get-account` is on the Business Central server.
* Read-only. Do not call `ramp-accounting-gl-account-upload`, `ramp-accounting-gl-account-update`, `ramp-accounting-gl-account-delete` or any Business Central create or update tool.

**Validation:**

* If Ramp returns no accounts, say the accounting sync may not have run and stop.
* Do not call a Business Central account a mismatch on name alone when the code matches; report name differences as informational.
