The problem

One campaign, two reports and a spreadsheet

Email results sit in Mailchimp while members, responses and pipeline sit in Salesforce, so judging one campaign takes two reports and a spreadsheet. It is also hard to tell how many Salesforce members were ever sent the email.

Without PopdockAI

  • Pull the Mailchimp report for opens and clicks
  • Pull the Salesforce campaign for members and pipeline
  • Match member emails to recipients by hand
  • Mix up store revenue and opportunity revenue

With PopdockAI

  • Email results and pipeline are read side by side
  • Up to 200 member emails are checked against recipients
  • E-commerce and opportunity revenue stay apart
  • The matched names are shown and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Compare the Mailchimp campaign and the Salesforce campaign named like `{campaign-name}`, showing email performance from Mailchimp beside members, responses and pipeline from Salesforce.

**Step 1: Mailchimp side**

Call `mailchimp-get-report` with `campaign-title.contains` set to `{campaign-name}`. If more than one matches, list them with their send-date and stop so the user can choose. Keep emails-sent, unique-opens, open-rate, clicks-total, click-rate, unsubscribed, hard-bounces and total-revenue.

**Step 2: Salesforce side**

Call `salesforce-get-campaign` with `name.contains` set to `{campaign-name}`. If more than one matches, list them and stop. Keep status, start-date, end-date, leads, responses, opportunities, won-opportunities-value, budgeted-cost and actual-cost. Then call `salesforce-get-campaign-member` with that `campaign-id` to count members and how many are marked responded.

**Step 3: Cross-check the audience**

Take up to 200 member emails from the Salesforce campaign and check each with `mailchimp-get-campaign-recipient` using the Mailchimp `campaign-id` and `email-address`. Count how many Salesforce members were sent the Mailchimp email and how many opened it.

**Step 4: Report**

A two-column table, Mailchimp and Salesforce, with one row per measure. Then the overlap: Salesforce members sent the email, of those how many opened, and Salesforce members who were never sent it. Finish with two or three plain observations, for example a high open rate but no responses recorded in Salesforce.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `mailchimp-get-report` and `mailchimp-get-campaign-recipient` are on the mailchimp server. `salesforce-get-campaign` and `salesforce-get-campaign-member` are on the salesforce server.
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call `salesforce-update-campaign`, `salesforce-add-campaign` or `mailchimp-replicate-campaign`.

**Validation:**

* Campaign names are matched by eye; state the exact names used on each side so the user can confirm they are the same campaign.
* If either side has no match, report the side that does exist and say the other is missing.
* Note that Mailchimp revenue is e-commerce revenue and Salesforce won value is opportunity revenue; do not add them together.
