The problem

Reps blind to the campaign their contact just clicked

Reps working a contact in Salesforce rarely see that the person clicked last week's campaign. Logging clicks by hand means matching each clicker and writing a task, and running it twice fills history with duplicates.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export clicks and group them by person
  • Match each email to a contact or lead
  • Check whether a task was already logged
  • Write tasks one by one and create duplicates

With PopdockAI

  • Clicks are grouped by person with links and last click date
  • Each email is matched to one contact or lead
  • No match, several matches or already logged are skipped
  • One completed task per person after you confirm

Prompt
**Objective:** For the Mailchimp campaign titled `{campaign-title}`, log one completed Salesforce task on each matching contact or lead who clicked it, so the click shows in their Salesforce activity history.

**Step 1: Find the campaign and its clickers**

Call `mailchimp-get-campaign` with `title.contains` set to `{campaign-title}`. If more than one matches, list them and stop. Call `mailchimp-get-campaign-email-activity` with that `campaign-id` and `action` set to click. Group by email address, keeping the number of clicks, the links clicked (url) and the last click date.

**Step 2: Match in Salesforce**

For each email, call `salesforce-get-contact` with `email`; if none, call `salesforce-get-lead` with `email`. Skip anyone with no match and anyone matching more than one record. For each match, call `salesforce-get-task` with `name-id` set to the contact or lead id and `subject.contains` set to the campaign title, and skip the person if such a task already exists.

**Step 3: Confirm**

Show the planned tasks as a table: name, email, Salesforce id, clicks, last click date. Ask the user to confirm. Do not continue without an explicit yes.

**Step 4: Create**

For each confirmed row, call `salesforce-add-task` once with `who-id` set to the contact or lead id, `subject` set to "Clicked Mailchimp campaign: " followed by the campaign title, `status` set to Completed, `due-date` set to the last click date, and `comments` listing the links clicked and the click count.

**Step 5: Report**

The tasks created, then the people skipped and why (not in Salesforce, several matches, already logged).

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `mailchimp-get-campaign` and `mailchimp-get-campaign-email-activity` are on the mailchimp server. `salesforce-get-contact`, `salesforce-get-lead`, `salesforce-get-task` and `salesforce-add-task` are on the salesforce server.
* The only write this prompt may make is `salesforce-add-task`, once per confirmed person. Do not call `salesforce-update-task`, `salesforce-add-lead` or `salesforce-update-contact`.

**Validation:**

* Compare email addresses case-insensitively.
* If the campaign has no clicks, say so and stop.
* If a create fails, report it and continue with the rest without retrying.
