The problem

Logged hours and real focus time rarely line up

Comparing timesheet hours with real focused work means exporting from Business Central and TickTick and lining up days by hand. Unlogged or over-logged time is easy to miss.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export the resource's timesheet from Business Central
  • Export focus sessions from TickTick
  • Total both per day in a spreadsheet
  • Miss days that appear on only one side

With PopdockAI

  • Timesheet rows are read for the resource and dates
  • Focus hours are totalled per day with the top tasks named
  • Days with only one side are listed
  • Differences are review prompts, and nothing is written

Prompt
**Objective:** For resource `{resource-number}` in company `{company}`, compare focus time recorded in TickTick with timesheet time in Business Central between `{date-from}` and `{date-to}`.

**Step 1: Timesheet side (Business Central)**

Call `business-central-get-timesheet` with `company` set to `{company}`, `resource-number` set to `{resource-number}`, `date.from` set to `{date-from}` and `date.to` set to `{date-to}`. Keep the date, hours or quantity, status and job-number of each row. If nothing comes back, note that no timesheet exists for the period and continue.

**Step 2: Focus side (TickTick)**

Call `ticktick-get-focuses` with `start-time.from` set to `{date-from}` and `start-time.to` set to `{date-to}`. Sum duration-seconds per calendar day and convert to hours. Note the task titles that account for the most time.

**Step 3: Report**

A day-by-day table: date, TickTick focus hours, timesheet hours, difference. Then totals, the days with focus time but no timesheet entry, the days with timesheet hours but no focus time, and the timesheet status (open, submitted, approved, posted).

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `business-central-get-timesheet` is on the business-central server. `ticktick-get-focuses` is on the TickTick server.
* This prompt is read-only. Never call `ticktick-add-focus-session`, `ticktick-delete-focus-session` or any Business Central create or update tool.

**Validation:**

* Focus sessions belong to the connected TickTick account; confirm with the user that it is the same person as the resource, and state the assumption in the report.
* Focus time and billable hours are not the same thing; say that differences are a prompt for review, not an error.
