Send won Dynamics 365 Sales orders to Business Central once
For operations teams who want won orders in Business Central at the price sold, without retyping, by asking their AI assistant.

Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, pick your AI tool and paste the prompt.
The problem
Won orders get keyed twice before they can ship
Orders won in Dynamics 365 Sales have to be keyed again into Business Central. Finding the customer, matching each product to an item and copying prices is slow, and a missed check means a duplicate or wrongly priced order.
Without PopdockAI
- Retype the order from Dynamics 365 Sales
- Match each product to an item by hand
- Copy quantities and prices line by line
- Enter the same order twice by mistake
With PopdockAI
- Business Central is checked for the order id before anything else
- The customer is matched by account number, then name
- Each product is mapped to an item, with unmapped lines shown
- After you confirm, it is created at the sold price and totaled

**Objective:** Create a sales order in Business Central company `{company}` (default: the connector's default company when blank) that matches the Dynamics 365 Sales order `{order-name}`, only after the user confirms the mapping.
**Step 1: Read the order in Dynamics 365 Sales**
Call `dynamics-365-sales-get-salesorders` with name set to `{order-name}` (then order-id, then name.contains). Stop and list matches if more than one. Keep order-id, name, customer, total-amount and requested-delivery-date. Call `dynamics-365-sales-get-salesorderdetails` with order set to the order name and keep each line's product-number, product-name, quantity, price-per-unit and manual-discount.
**Step 2: Make sure it is not already in Business Central**
Call `business-central-get-sales-transaction` with external-document-number set to the Dynamics 365 order-id. If a document comes back, report its document-number and status and stop. Do not create a duplicate.
**Step 3: Map the customer and items in Business Central**
Call `dynamics-365-sales-get-accounts` with account-name set to the order's customer and keep account-number. Call `business-central-get-customer` with customer-number set to that account-number, falling back to name.contains on the customer name. If no customer matches, stop and suggest running backfill-bc-customers-from-d365 first. If the customer is blocked, stop and say so.
For each line call `business-central-get-item` with item-number set to the product-number. Lines whose product has no Business Central item go on an unmapped list.
**Step 4: Show the plan and ask**
Show the Business Central customer, the external document number (the Dynamics 365 order-id), the requested delivery date, and a table of lines: item-number, description, quantity, unit-price (the Dynamics 365 price-per-unit) and the Business Central unit-price for comparison. List unmapped lines separately; they will not be created. Ask the user to confirm. Do not continue without an explicit yes.
**Step 5: Create in Business Central (only after confirmation)**
Call `business-central-create-sales-order` once with customer-number and bill-to-customer-number set to the Business Central customer-number, external-document-number set to the Dynamics 365 order-id, requested-delivery-date, and company `{company}` when given. Keep the returned number and id. Then call `business-central-create-sales-order-line` once per mapped line with document-number set to that number, line-type Item, number-on-line set to the item-number, quantity and unit-price.
**Step 6: Confirm**
Call `business-central-get-sales-transaction-line` with document-number set to the new number and report the created order number, each line created, any line that failed, and the order total against the Dynamics 365 total.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools named dynamics-365-sales-* are on the dynamics-365-sales server; tools named business-central-* are on the business-central server.
* The only write tools allowed are `business-central-create-sales-order` (once) and `business-central-create-sales-order-line` (once per line), and only after confirmation. Do NOT call any dynamics-365-sales create or update tool, and do NOT update or delete anything in Business Central.
* If the header create fails, stop and do not create lines.
**Validation:**
* If a line create fails, continue with the rest and list the failures at the end.
* If the Dynamics 365 and Business Central prices differ, keep the Dynamics 365 price (that is what was sold) and flag the difference in the plan.

How it works
What PopdockAI does when you ask
You name the Dynamics 365 Sales order and your AI assistant checks for a duplicate, maps the customer and items, and shows you the result. Nothing is created until you confirm.
01
Ask
You name the Dynamics 365 Sales order.
02
Check
It stops if Business Central already has the order, then maps customer and items.
03
Confirm
You see mapped lines with both prices and any unmapped lines.
04
Create
It creates the order at the price sold and totals it against Dynamics 365.
