The problem

Buying signals in Drip that sales never sees

Drip tags subscribers who show buying intent, but sales only works what is in Salesforce. Moving them across means checking every email against contacts and leads and typing each lead in, and skipping the check leaves reps chasing people they already own.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export the tagged subscribers from Drip
  • Check each email against Salesforce contacts and leads
  • Guess a company name Drip never captured
  • Type each lead in and hope there are no duplicates

With PopdockAI

  • Anyone already a Salesforce contact or lead is skipped
  • A company is proposed from the email domain
  • You review the table and remove rows before confirming
  • New lead IDs and any failures are reported back

Prompt
**Objective:** For active Drip subscribers tagged `{tag}`, create a Salesforce lead for each one that is not already a Salesforce contact or lead. Use lead source `{lead-source}` (default Drip). Check at most 50 subscribers.

**Step 1: Tagged subscribers in Drip**

Call `drip-get-subscriber` with `tags.contains` set to `{tag}`, `status` set to active and `max-records` set to 50. If nothing comes back, report that and stop.

**Step 2: Remove anyone Salesforce already has**

For each subscriber, call `salesforce-get-contact` with `email` set to the subscriber's `email`, then, if no contact comes back, `salesforce-get-lead` with the same `email`. Drop every subscriber that matches either.

**Step 3: Plan and confirm**

Show the user a table of the leads you intend to create: email, first name, last name, company. Drip has no company field, so derive company from the email domain (acme.com becomes Acme). For a personal mailbox domain (gmail.com, outlook.com, yahoo.com, icloud.com, hotmail.com and similar) use "Unknown". If `last-name` is empty, use the part of the email before the @.

Ask the user to confirm. Do not create anything until they say yes. If they remove rows, drop those.

**Step 4: Create**

For each confirmed row, call `salesforce-add-lead` with `email`, `first-name`, `last-name`, `company` and `lead-source` set to `{lead-source}` (Drip if empty). Leave `status` out so Salesforce applies its default.

**Step 5: Report**

A table of what was created with each new lead's Salesforce `id`, then any failures with the error, then the count of subscribers skipped because Salesforce already had them.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `drip-get-subscriber` is on the Drip server; `salesforce-get-contact`, `salesforce-get-lead` and `salesforce-add-lead` are on the Salesforce server.
* `salesforce-add-lead` is the only tool that may write, and only after confirmation in Step 3. Do NOT call `salesforce-update-lead`, `salesforce-add-contact` or any Drip write tool such as `drip-update-subscriber`.

**Validation:**

* Compare emails case-insensitively. Never create a lead for an email that matched a contact or lead.
* If a create fails, report it and continue with the rest; do not retry the same row.
