Turn Chorus call commitments into Teamwork.com tasks
For delivery and account teams who want promises made on a client call added to the right Teamwork.com task list by their AI assistant.

The problem
Promises made on calls never become tasks
Commitments made on a client call often live only in the Chorus summary. Getting them into the right Teamwork.com task list means rereading it, finding the project and checking nothing is already there, so some promises are never worked on.
Without PopdockAI
- Reread the Chorus summary for action items
- Find the client's project and the right task list
- Check whether each task already exists
- Let the commitments nobody typed in slip
With PopdockAI
- Only concrete commitments are pulled out, with owners and dates
- The client's open project and task list are found
- Actions already tracked are dropped
- You edit or drop tasks before anything is created

**Objective:** Turn the action items from the Chorus conversation `{conversation-id}` into tasks in the client's Teamwork project, in the task list `{tasklist-name}` if given, after the user confirms.
**Step 1: Read the call in Chorus**
Call `chorus-get-engagements` with `conversation-id` set to `{conversation-id}`. Keep `subject`, `date`, `account-name`, `opportunity-name` and `meeting-summary`. Call `chorus-get-conversation-participants` with the same `conversation-id` to know who was on the call. If the engagement has no `meeting-summary`, stop and say there is nothing to extract.
**Step 2: Extract the actions**
From `meeting-summary`, list each concrete commitment: what must be done, who said they would do it, and any date mentioned. Leave out discussion points that are not commitments.
**Step 3: Find the project and task list in Teamwork**
Call `teamwork-get-projects` with `company-name.contains` set to the distinctive part of `account-name`, keeping projects that are not completed. If several match, list them and ask. Then call `teamwork-get-tasklists` with that `project-id`. Use the list whose name matches `{tasklist-name}`; if none was given, propose the most relevant open list by name and say which. If no list fits, stop and ask.
**Step 4: Avoid duplicates**
Call `teamwork-get-tasks` with `task-list-id` and `name.contains` set to a key word from each action. Drop any action that already has an open task.
**Step 5: Confirm**
Show the proposed tasks: name, description (ending "From Chorus call <subject> on <date>"), due date if one was stated, and priority. Name the person each action belongs to in the description, because tasks cannot be assigned from here. Ask the user to confirm, edit or drop. Do not write until they confirm.
**Step 6: Write and confirm**
For each confirmed task call `teamwork-create-task` once with `tasklist-id`, `name`, `description`, `due-date` and `priority`. Report each returned `id`.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* `chorus-get-engagements` and `chorus-get-conversation-participants` are on the chorus server. `teamwork-get-projects`, `teamwork-get-tasklists`, `teamwork-get-tasks` and `teamwork-create-task` are on the teamwork server.
* `teamwork-create-task` is the only tool that may write, and only after confirmation. Do not call `teamwork-create-tasklist`, `teamwork-update-task`, `teamwork-create-message` or any chorus write tool.
* Do not invent actions the summary does not contain.
**Validation:**
* If the call has no `account-name`, ask which Teamwork project to use instead of guessing.
* If every action already has a task, say so and stop without writing.Who it's for
One answer, three teams that use it
Project managers
Turn a client call into work straight away
Get the promises from a call into your task list the same day, with owners named, while everyone still remembers them.
Turn this morning's Chorus call with Fabrikam into Teamwork.com tasks on their implementation project.
Account managers
Make sure what you promised gets done
Your commitments to the client land in the delivery team's list, so nothing you said on a call is forgotten.
Create tasks from my Chorus call with Northwind Traders on Tuesday, in the Phase 2 task list.
Customer success managers
Follow up without duplicating work
Actions already tracked are skipped, so follow-ups from a check-in add only what is new.
Pull the action items from the last Chorus check-in with Contoso and add any that are not already in Teamwork.com.
How it works
What PopdockAI does when you ask
You give the Chorus conversation and your AI assistant turns its commitments into proposed Teamwork.com tasks. It never invents actions or guesses the project, and creates only what you confirm.
01
Ask
You give the Chorus conversation, and optionally the task list.
02
Extract
It reads the summary and pulls out concrete commitments with owners and dates.
03
Match
It finds the client's project and list and drops actions already tracked.
04
Confirm
You edit or drop tasks, then it creates the rest.
