The problem
An unpaid pledge you missed makes the visit awkward
Before a donor visit a fundraiser pieces together giving, pledges, contacts, flags, relationships and addresses from different DonorPerfect screens. Missing one, such as an unpaid pledge, can make the conversation awkward.
Without PopdockAI
- Open giving history and pledges separately
- Scroll through recent contacts
- Check flags, links and addresses one by one
- Miss the unpaid pledge
With PopdockAI
- The donor is identified, with candidates listed if several match
- Gifts, pledges, contacts, flags, links and addresses are read
- Lifetime and year-to-date giving are worked out
- Empty sections are stated, nothing estimated or changed
The prompt

**Objective:** Produce a complete profile of the donor identified by `{donor-name-or-email}`, covering giving history, recent contact activity, flags, relationships and addresses. This is a read-only briefing.
**Step 1: Identify the donor**
Call `donorperfect-get-donor`. If `{donor-name-or-email}` looks like an email address, filter on `email`; otherwise filter on `last-name.contains`, and if a first name is also given filter on `first-name.contains` as well.
* If nothing matches, say so and stop. Do not guess at a different spelling more than once.
* If more than one donor matches, list the matches with their donor id, city, state and gift total, ask which one, and stop.
* Otherwise record the `donor-id`. Every remaining step uses it.
**Step 2: Giving history**
Call `donorperfect-get-gift` filtered by `donor-id`. Look at:
* the total given, the number of gifts, and the first and most recent `gift-date`
* which `campaign` values recur
* any rows whose `record-type` is a pledge, and whether `balance` is still outstanding
**Step 3: Relationship context**
Call each of these filtered by `donor-id`, and skip quietly any that return nothing:
* `donorperfect-get-contact` for the most recent contact activity, noting `contact-date`, `by-whom` and `activity-code`
* `donorperfect-get-flag` for segmentation flags
* `donorperfect-get-link` for linked donors, then call `donorperfect-get-donor` on each `linked-donor-id` to turn it into a name
* `donorperfect-get-address` for addresses on file
* `donorperfect-get-other-info` for committee, assignment and volunteer notes
**Step 4: Report**
Produce, in this order:
1. A header line: name, donor id, donor type, city and state.
2. Giving summary: lifetime total, gift count, last gift amount and date, year to date.
3. Open pledges with outstanding balance, or a line saying there are none.
4. Last three contacts, most recent first.
5. Flags, linked donors and committee or assignment notes as a short bullet list.
6. Two or three concrete observations a fundraiser could act on, such as a lapse in giving, an unpaid pledge balance, or a long gap since the last contact.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call `donorperfect-save-donor`, `donorperfect-save-gift`, `donorperfect-save-pledge`, `donorperfect-save-contact`, `donorperfect-save-address`, `donorperfect-save-link`, `donorperfect-save-other-info` or `donorperfect-set-flag` under any circumstances.
* Report figures as they come back. Do not estimate or extrapolate anything the data does not show.
* Where a section is empty, say it is empty rather than omitting it.
**Validation:**
* If the donor lookup is ambiguous, list the candidates and stop rather than picking one.
* If a supporting read fails or returns nothing, note it in one line and carry on with the rest.
