The problem

Open issues that never became a task

Open GitHub issues are tracked by eye against a TickTick task list. The two share no id, so issues that never became a task are easy to miss and slip until someone asks.

Without PopdockAI

  • List open issues in GitHub
  • Scroll the TickTick project for each one
  • Guess at matches by title
  • Find the untracked issue when it is late

With PopdockAI

  • Open GitHub issues are read, optionally by label
  • The project's open tasks are checked for the issue number or title
  • Title only matches are marked possible
  • Untracked issues are counted, and nothing is created or edited

Prompt
**Objective:** Find open GitHub issues (optionally labelled `{label}`, default any label) that nobody is tracking as a TickTick task in project `{project-name}`. Read only.

**Step 1: List the issues (GitHub server)**

Call `github-get-issue` with `status` set to open and, if a label was given, `labels.contains` set to it. Keep `issue-number`, `title`, `assignee`, `issue-url`, `updated-date`. If nothing comes back, say so and stop.

**Step 2: Look for tasks (TickTick server)**

Call `ticktick-get-tasks` with `project-name` set to `{project-name}` and `status` open. For each issue, match a task whose `title` contains `#<issue-number>` or the issue title. The systems share no id, so matching is by text only.

**Step 3: Report**

A table: issue number, title, assignee, last updated, matching task (title, due date) or "no task". End with the count of untracked issues.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `github-*` tools are on the GitHub server; `ticktick-*` tools are on the TickTick server. Pass `company` to GitHub tools if the tool needs it.
* Do not call `ticktick-add-task`, `ticktick-update-task`, `ticktick-complete-task`, `ticktick-delete-task`, `ticktick-add-comment`, `ticktick-batch-tasks`, `github-add-issue`, `github-update-issue`, `github-add-issue-comment`, `github-add-issue-label`, `github-add-issue-assignee` or any other write tool.

**Validation:**

* If a task matches by title only, mark it "possible match".
* If `{project-name}` matches no project, call `ticktick-get-projects` with `name.contains`, list candidates and stop.
