The problem

The summary screen hides how an email really performed

A marketing email's real performance is buried in recipient events: sends, deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces and drops. Working out unique rates, top links and why messages were dropped takes more than the summary screen shows.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export recipient events for the campaign
  • Deduplicate opens and clicks by recipient
  • Group bounces and drops by reason
  • Work out rates in a spreadsheet

With PopdockAI

  • The campaign's recipient events are read
  • Each recipient is counted once per event type
  • Bounces and drops are grouped by reason, with top links and geography
  • Privacy inflated opens are noted, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Measure how the marketing email campaign `{campaign}` performed over the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 30).

**Step 1: Find the campaign's events**

Call `hubspot-get-email-event` with `campaign.contains` = `{campaign}` and `created.from` set to the window start. If the events span more than one `email-campaign-id`, list the campaigns with their subjects and event counts and stop so the user can pick.

**Step 2: Count by event type**

Count distinct recipients for each `type` (SENT, DELIVERED, OPEN, CLICK, BOUNCE, DROPPED, SPAMREPORT, UNSUBSCRIBED and so on).

* Delivery rate = delivered / sent
* Open rate = unique openers / delivered
* Click rate = unique clickers / delivered
* Click-to-open = unique clickers / unique openers

**Step 3: Detail**

* Top 10 clicked `url` values with unique clickers.
* Bounces and drops grouped by `drop-reason`.
* Opens by `location-country` (top 5) and `browser-name` (top 5).

**Step 4: Report**

Subject, campaign, a metrics table, the detail tables, and the recipients who reported spam or unsubscribed.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* This prompt is read-only. Do NOT call any write tool: `hubspot-add-contact`, `hubspot-add-company`, `hubspot-add-deal`, `hubspot-add-ticket`, `hubspot-update-contact`, `hubspot-update-company`, `hubspot-update-deal`, `hubspot-update-ticket`, `hubspot-add-contact-note`, `hubspot-add-company-note`, `hubspot-add-deal-note`, `hubspot-add-ticket-note`.
* Count each recipient once per event type; repeated opens are not extra openers.
* Say plainly that opens are inflated by mail privacy proxies.

**Validation:**

* If no events match, say so and suggest checking the campaign name.
* If events hit `max-records`, say the rates are based on a sample.
