The problem

A shopper's story scattered across store and inbox

Answering a shopper well means knowing what they bought in WooCommerce, what was refunded and how they respond to your Mailchimp emails. That takes several screens, guest orders are easy to miss, and the two systems often disagree.

Without PopdockAI

  • Search WooCommerce customers and guest orders
  • Work out spend net of refunds
  • Search Mailchimp for status and activity
  • Compare names and totals by hand

With PopdockAI

  • The WooCommerce customer and guest orders are read
  • Net spend and the latest products are shown
  • Mailchimp status, tags, rates and unsubscribes are added
  • A gaps section lays out mismatches and nothing is written

Prompt
**Objective:** Build a combined profile of the shopper with email `{email}`, covering their WooCommerce buying history and their Mailchimp subscription and engagement over the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 90).

**Step 1: Find the customer in WooCommerce**

Call `woocommerce-get-customer` with `email` set to `{email}`. Note `customer-id`, name, billing city and country, `paying-customer` and `created-date`. If nothing comes back, record the shopper as a guest or unknown in WooCommerce and continue: guest orders can still exist.

**Step 2: Read their orders**

Call `woocommerce-get-order` with `customer-email` set to `{email}`. Count orders by `status`, total the `total` of orders that are not cancelled, failed or refunded, and note the first and most recent `created-date`. Call `woocommerce-get-refund` with `customer-email` set to `{email}` and total the refunded `amount`. For the three most recent orders, call `woocommerce-get-order-line` with `order-id` to list what was bought.

**Step 3: Find the contact in Mailchimp**

Call `mailchimp-get-list-member` with `email` set to `{email}`. A contact can sit in several audiences; report each `list-name` with its `status`, `tags`, `rating`, `average-open-rate` and `average-click-rate`. If nothing comes back, report the shopper as not in any Mailchimp audience and skip Step 4.

**Step 4: Read their recent engagement**

Work out the start date as today minus `{lookback-days}` days. Call `mailchimp-get-campaign-email-activity` with `email-address` set to `{email}` and `activity-date.from` set to that date, and summarise opens, clicks and bounces by campaign. Call `mailchimp-get-campaign-unsubscribe` with `email` set to `{email}` and report any unsubscribe with its `reason` and `campaign-name`. Call `mailchimp-get-customer` with `email` set to `{email}` to see the Mailchimp store copy of the customer.

**Step 5: Report**

One profile with four sections: Identity (name, WooCommerce customer id, audiences), Buying (order count, net spend after refunds, first and last order, recent products), Marketing (status per audience, tags, open and click rates, recent campaign activity, unsubscribes), and Gaps (anything one system knows that the other does not, such as a paying customer missing from every audience, or a Mailchimp `orders-count` or `total-spent` that disagrees with WooCommerce).

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `woocommerce-get-customer`, `woocommerce-get-order`, `woocommerce-get-order-line` and `woocommerce-get-refund` are on the woocommerce server. `mailchimp-get-list-member`, `mailchimp-get-campaign-email-activity`, `mailchimp-get-campaign-unsubscribe` and `mailchimp-get-customer` are on the mailchimp server.
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call `mailchimp-add-list-member`, `mailchimp-update-list-member`, `mailchimp-update-customer`, `woocommerce-update-customer` or any other add or update tool on either server.

**Validation:**

* Match on email only, compared case-insensitively. Do not merge records on name alone.
* If the email is unknown to both systems, say so in one line and stop.
* If WooCommerce and Mailchimp disagree on name or order totals, show both values side by side rather than picking one.
