The problem
Missing payouts hide among normal fee gaps
Money collected in Shopify reaches the bank days later, net of fees, so lining up takings with Sage Intacct deposits is guesswork in a spreadsheet. A payout that never arrived, or arrived short, can hide among normal fee gaps.
Without PopdockAI
- Export Shopify transactions and total them by day
- Export Sage Intacct deposits for the following week
- Match by date and amount in a spreadsheet
- Miss a short payout that looks like fees
With PopdockAI
- Successful sales, captures and refunds are totalled by day
- Each day is paired with deposits up to five days later
- Small gaps are labelled likely fees and larger ones mismatches
- It says this is a match to check, not proof, and changes nothing

**Objective:** For `{from-date}` to `{to-date}` (default today), total Shopify's collected payments by day, optionally for gateway `{gateway}`, and line them up with Intacct deposits to find money that was collected but never deposited, or deposited with a different amount.
**Step 1: Read the Shopify transactions**
Call `shopify-get-transaction` with `processed-at.from` = `{from-date}`, `processed-at.to` = `{to-date}` and, if set, `gateway` = `{gateway}`. Use the `kind` and `status` values the tool's schema lists; keep successful sale and capture transactions as money in, and successful refund transactions as money out. Ignore authorizations, voids and failed transactions.
Group by `processed-at` date (and by `gateway` if no gateway was given) and compute gross in, refunds, and net.
**Step 2: Read the Intacct deposits**
Call `intacct-get-deposit` with `deposit-date.from` = `{from-date}` and `deposit-date.to` = 5 days after `{to-date}` (payouts land days after the sale). Keep `deposit-id`, `deposit-date`, `bank-account`, `description` and `total-base-amount`. For a deposit whose description does not identify its source, call `intacct-get-deposit-line` with `deposit-record-number` = its `record-number` and read the line descriptions and customer names.
**Step 3: Match**
Match each Shopify day (or group of consecutive days) to a deposit whose amount is within 5 percent of the net, within 5 days after the sale date. Payment processors deduct fees before paying out, so the deposit is normally slightly below the net; report the gap as "likely fees" when it is under 5 percent, and as a mismatch above that.
**Step 4: Report**
A table by Shopify day: date, gateway, gross, refunds, net, matched deposit id and date, deposit amount, gap. Then list unmatched Shopify days and unmatched deposits that look like payment processor payouts. End with period totals for both sides.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* `shopify-get-transaction` is on the shopify server. `intacct-get-deposit` and `intacct-get-deposit-line` are on the intacct server.
* This prompt is read-only. Do NOT call `intacct-create-journal-entry` or any other create or update tool on either server.
* This is a heuristic match on dates and amounts. Say so at the top of the report, and never describe a match as confirmed.
**Validation:**
* If Shopify returns no successful transactions, report the range and gateway and stop.
* If Intacct has no deposits in the range, say that deposits may be recorded in a different bank account, entity or as other receipts, and suggest checking `intacct-get-other-receipt` for the same dates.
* If the Shopify `currency` differs from the deposit currency, report those days separately without matching them.Who it's for
