The problem
Goods arrive with no order to receive against
Purchase orders open in Dynamics GP at go-live need to exist in Business Central, or goods arrive with nothing to receive against. Checking means matching renumbered orders and comparing vendors, amounts and dates with tax handled differently.
Without PopdockAI
- Export open orders from both systems
- Match orders that may have been renumbered
- Compare amounts with tax included on one side only
- Find the missing order when the truck arrives
With PopdockAI
- Open GP orders are read, including those on hold
- Each is found by number, vendor order number, or vendor and amount
- Vendor, remaining amount, expected date and currency are compared
- Missing orders are listed soonest receipt first, with nothing written

**Objective:** Confirm that purchase orders still open in Dynamics GP exist as open purchase orders in Business Central, for vendor `{vendor-id}` or, if that is empty, every vendor.
**Step 1: Read the open GP purchase orders**
Call `dynamics-gp-get-pm-purchase-order` with `vendor-id` set to `{vendor-id}` when it is given and `remaining-subtotal.min` set to 0.01. Keep orders whose po-status is New, Released or Change Order.
**Step 2: Read the BC purchase orders**
Call `business-central-get-purchase-transaction` with `document-type` set to Order, and `buy-from-vendor-number` set to `{vendor-id}` when it is given.
Match GP po-number to BC document-number. If BC renumbered the orders, match GP po-number to BC vendor-order-number instead. If that also fails, match on the same vendor with a remaining amount within 1 percent, and mark those matches as probable.
**Step 3: Compare each matched pair**
* vendor-id vs buy-from-vendor-number
* remaining-subtotal vs total-outstanding-amount (BC's figure can include tax; flag a difference only when it is larger than the GP tax-amount)
* promised-date, or required-date when that is empty, vs expected-receipt-date
* currency-id vs currency-code
**Step 4: Report**
Counts first: open in GP, matched, probable matches, missing from BC, open in BC with no GP order. Then the missing orders (PO number, vendor, remaining subtotal, promised date), sorted by promised date so the soonest receipts come first, then the differences on matched orders.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* `dynamics-gp-get-pm-purchase-order` is on the dynamics-gp server. `business-central-get-purchase-transaction` is on the business-central server.
* This prompt is read-only. Do NOT call `business-central-create-purchase-order`, `business-central-create-purchase-order-line`, `business-central-update-purchase-order`, `dynamics-gp-pm-purchase-order-add` or `dynamics-gp-pm-purchase-order-update`.
* If either system has more than one company, ask the user which GP company and which BC company to use before the first call, and pass them as `company`.
**Validation:**
* If GP has no open purchase orders, say so and stop.
* If BC has no purchase orders at all, report that open purchase orders were not migrated and list the GP orders a buyer would need to re-enter.
* A GP order on hold (hold = true) is still open; include it and mark it as on hold.Who it's for
