The problem

AI spend is understood only after the bill arrives

AI service costs are spread across providers, models, API keys and people. No single screen shows who spends what, which keys are near their limit or which usage looks unusual, so the bill is understood only after it arrives.

Without PopdockAI

  • Check usage provider by provider
  • Look up each API key's limit and sync
  • Work out who spends the most
  • Spot unusual usage after the bill lands

With PopdockAI

  • Estimated cost totalled by provider and model with tokens
  • Keys near their limit, stale or inactive with cost flagged
  • Anomalous team members and the top five by cost
  • Two savings suggestions, and nothing changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Summarise AI spend tracked in Ramp over the last {days-back} days (default 30), and flag keys or people who stand out. Ignore items under {min-cost} estimated cost (default 0).

**Step 1: Usage**

Call `ramp-get-ai-spend-usage` with `usage-date.from` set to the window start and `estimated-cost.min` set to the minimum. Total estimated cost by provider and by model. Note input, output and cached tokens.

**Step 2: Keys and people**

Call `ramp-get-ai-spend-api-key` with `estimated-cost.min` set to the minimum. Flag keys near their spend limit, keys not synced recently and keys with an inactive status that still show cost.

Call `ramp-get-ai-spend-team-member` the same way. Flag members marked anomalous and the top five by cost.

**Step 3: Report**

Provider and model totals, the top keys, the top members, and the anomalies. End with two cost-saving suggestions grounded in the numbers.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Read only. No write tool is needed for this prompt.
* Estimated cost is not provider reported cost. Show both where both exist and say which you used.

**Validation:**

* If no usage is returned, say AI spend tracking may not be enabled and stop.
