The problem
A duplicate pledge confuses the donor's billing
Setting up a recurring pledge means checking for an existing one, validating codes and getting the amount, total and frequency right. A duplicate pledge or wrong total causes billing confusion that is hard to explain to a donor.

**Objective:** Set up a recurring pledge for `{donor-name-or-email}` of `{billing-amount}` per instalment at frequency `{frequency}`, starting `{start-date}`. Check what the donor already has in place before writing.
**Step 1: Identify the donor**
Call `donorperfect-get-donor`, filtering on `email` for an email address and `last-name.contains` otherwise. Stop and report if there is no match or more than one. Record the `donor-id`.
**Step 2: Review existing commitments**
Call `donorperfect-get-gift` filtered by `donor-id`. Identify any rows whose `record-type` marks them as a pledge and whose `balance` is still outstanding.
* If the donor already has an open pledge at the same amount and frequency, show it and ask whether to proceed anyway before going further.
* Summarise their giving so far: lifetime total and most recent gift date.
**Step 3: Validate the codes**
If the user names a campaign, solicitation code or GL code, confirm each one with `donorperfect-get-code` using the matching `field-name`. If a value does not exist, list the valid options and stop.
**Step 4: Confirm, then write**
State the pledge in full: donor name and id, billing amount, total amount, frequency, start date, pledge date, campaign. Ask the user to confirm.
Only after confirmation, call `donorperfect-save-pledge` once, with no `pledge-id`.
**Step 5: Verify**
Call `donorperfect-get-gift` filtered by `donor-id` and report the new pledge row with its id and balance.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* `donorperfect-save-pledge` is the only write tool this prompt may call, once, after explicit confirmation.
* Do not call `donorperfect-save-gift` to record an instalment. This prompt sets up the schedule only.
* If the total amount is not stated, work it out from the billing amount and the number of instalments the user gives, and show your arithmetic before writing.
**Validation:**
* If `{frequency}` is not one the connector accepts, ask for it again rather than guessing.
* If the donor has an open pledge and the user does not confirm, write nothing.
