**Objective:** Audit usage records for subscription `{subscription-reference}`, optionally only for option `{option-code}`.
**Step 1: Usage**
Call `2checkout-get-subscriptionusage` with `subscription-reference` set to `{subscription-reference}` and `option-code` when given. Note usage-reference, usage-start, usage-end and units.
**Step 2: Check**
Sort by usage-start. Flag overlapping intervals, gaps between consecutive intervals, duplicate usage-reference values and unit counts more than three times the median.
**Step 3: Report**
Totals of units per option-code, then the list of defects. Do not suggest edits you have not been asked for.
