Are any of our BugHerd webhooks failing? Check the Northwind Traders site project.
1 webhook in Northwind Traders site is broken and 1 is flaky. - Broken: task created event, last error code 401, the receiving end rejects the credentials - Flaky: comment created event, 14 percent errors, last delivery succeeded - Healthy: 3 webhooks Want the full table with target URLs and timestamps?

The problem

Failing webhooks go unnoticed until alerts are missed

BugHerd webhooks feed chat, ticketing and build tools, and nobody is told when one starts failing. Finding the broken one means comparing success and error times and decoding error codes by hand.

Without PopdockAI

  • Notice a missing alert days after the fact
  • Open each webhook and compare success and error times
  • Look up what each error code means
  • Paste URLs that may hold tokens into the write up

With PopdockAI

  • Every webhook in scope is read, healthy ones included
  • Each is judged broken, flaky or healthy
  • Error codes are turned into a likely cause
  • Query strings are cut from URLs and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Find BugHerd webhooks that are failing, for the project `{project-name}` when given (every webhook when empty), and explain what is broken.

**Step 1: Scope**

If `{project-name}` is given, call `bugherd-get-projects` with `name.contains` and take the project-id. If several match, list them and stop.

**Step 2: Read the webhooks**

Call `bugherd-get-webhooks`, with `project-id` when resolved. Do not filter on errors here: you need the healthy ones too, to compare.

**Step 3: Judge each webhook**

* **Broken:** last-error is later than last-success, or there has never been a success.
* **Flaky:** error-count is more than 10 percent of success-count, but the last delivery succeeded.
* **Healthy:** everything else.
* Read last-error-code: 401 or 403 means the receiving end rejects the credentials, 404 means the target URL is gone, 5xx means the receiver is failing, 0 or blank usually means it could not be reached.

**Step 4: Report**

A table of broken and flaky webhooks: event, project name, target-url, last success, last error, last error code, verdict and likely cause. Then one line with the count of healthy webhooks.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Do not call any write tool: `bugherd-add-task`, `bugherd-add-feedback`, `bugherd-update-task`, `bugherd-move-task`, `bugherd-add-comment`, `bugherd-add-attachment-from-url`, `bugherd-add-project`, `bugherd-update-project`, `bugherd-add-project-member`, `bugherd-add-guest-to-project`. This prompt is read-only.
* Do not show full target URLs that contain tokens or keys in their query string; cut the query string off.

**Validation:**

* If there are no webhooks, say so and stop.

Who it's for

One answer, three teams that use it

Integration engineers

Find the failing webhook fast

See which BugHerd webhook broke and why, without comparing timestamps and error codes by hand.

Which BugHerd webhooks are broken or flaky right now, and what is the likely cause?

DevOps engineers

Check integrations after a change

Confirm BugHerd webhooks still deliver after rotating credentials or moving a receiver.

We rotated our Slack credentials yesterday. Are the BugHerd webhooks for the Contoso Portal project still healthy?

IT support

Explain missing alerts to the team

When someone says alerts stopped arriving, show them which webhook failed and what is behind it.

Nobody got BugHerd alerts for Fabrikam Shop this week. Check that project's webhooks.

How it works

What PopdockAI does when you ask

You ask for a webhook check and your AI assistant reads BugHerd's webhooks and judges each one. It reports only, and keeps tokens out of the URLs it shows.

01

Ask

You request a webhook check, optionally for one project.

Your AI tool

02

Read

It reads the BugHerd webhooks in scope, healthy ones included.
