See how one Bitly link is doing in a single answer
For marketers who want a complete performance read on one short link, trend, sources, audience and timing, by asking their AI assistant.

The problem
How is this link doing means six separate Bitly views
Answering how a link is doing means stepping through separate Bitly views for clicks over time, referrers, domains, countries, cities and devices, then stitching them together. By the time the picture is complete the question has moved on.
Without PopdockAI
- Find the link in Bitly
- Open the clicks, referrer and location views
- Check devices and busy hours separately
- Stitch it all into a summary by hand
With PopdockAI
- The exact link is found, and you pick when several match
- Trend, peak day, referrers, countries, devices and busy hours are pulled
- A one-line verdict says growing, steady, declining or dormant
- All-time breakdowns are labelled, and nothing is changed

**Objective:** Produce a full performance review of the bitlink `{link}` over the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 30).
**Step 1: Identify the bitlink**
Call `bitly-get-bitlink` with `link` set to `{link}`. If nothing comes back, retry with the scheme added or removed (`https://bit.ly/abc` vs `bit.ly/abc`). If it still matches nothing, call `bitly-get-bitlink` with `title.contains` set to `{link}` instead. If more than one bitlink matches, list them (link, title, long-url, created-date) and stop so the user can pick one.
Note its `link`, `title`, `long-url`, `tags`, `group-name`, `created-date` and whether it is `archived`. Use the exact `link` value from this row as the `link` filter in every later call.
**Step 2: Click trend**
* Call `bitly-get-click-day` with `link`, `date.from` and `date.to` covering the lookback window.
* If the window is longer than 90 days, call `bitly-get-click-week` with `week-starting-date.from` and `week-starting-date.to` instead, to keep the series readable.
* Days with no row had zero clicks. Find the peak day, the total, the daily average, and whether the last third of the window is above or below the first third.
**Step 3: Where the clicks come from**
Call each of these filtered by `link`:
* `bitly-get-metric-bitlink-referrer` - which sites and apps send traffic
* `bitly-get-metric-bitlink-domain` - which referring domains
* `bitly-get-metric-bitlink-country` and `bitly-get-metric-bitlink-city` - where clickers are
* `bitly-get-metric-bitlink-device` - device type split
**Step 4: Timing**
Call `bitly-get-click-hour` with `link` and the same date range, and total clicks by `hour` to find the 3 busiest hours. Hours are as Bitly reports them; do not convert time zones.
**Step 5: Report**
* One-line verdict (growing, steady, declining, or dormant)
* Total clicks in the window, peak day, daily average
* Top 5 referrers, top 5 countries (with share of clicks), device split as percentages
* Busiest hours
* 2 or 3 concrete observations, e.g. a single referrer driving most traffic, or a country mismatch with the campaign's target
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Do not call `bitly-add-bitlink` or `bitly-update-bitlink`. This prompt is read-only.
* The referrer, domain, country, city and device breakdown tools are not date-filtered; they return the totals Bitly holds for each link. Say so in the report rather than presenting them as figures for the requested period.
* Report figures exactly as returned. Do not estimate missing data.
**Validation:**
* If the bitlink has no click rows in the window, say it had no clicks, report its creation date and archived state, and skip Steps 3 and 4.
* If the bitlink is archived, say so at the top of the report.Who it's for
