The problem

Launch checks split across two systems

Before a launch someone opens Akeneo and Business Central side by side to confirm a product is enabled, priced and stocked. Each system holds part of the answer, and an enabled product with a blocked item is easy to miss.

Without PopdockAI

  • Open the product in Akeneo
  • Find the item in Business Central
  • Check blocked, price and inventory by eye
  • Launch a product the ERP has blocked

With PopdockAI

  • Product and matching item read from both systems
  • Enabled, blocked, price, inventory and description checked
  • Ready, Needs attention or Not in ERP verdict
  • Both values shown on disagreement, nothing changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Decide whether the product `{product-identifier}` is ready to sell by comparing its Akeneo record with its Business Central item.

**Step 1: Read the product from Akeneo**

Call `akeneo-get-product` (Akeneo server) with `identifier` set to `{product-identifier}`. If it matches nothing, say the product does not exist in Akeneo and stop. Keep `enabled`, `product-name`, `brand`, `family`, `categories` and `parent-model`.

**Step 2: Read the item from Business Central**

Call `business-central-get-item` (Business Central server) with `item-number` set to the Akeneo `identifier`, and `company` set to `{company}` if given. If there is no item, report the product as present in Akeneo and absent from Business Central, then skip to Step 4.

**Step 3: Compare**

Check: Akeneo `enabled` against Business Central `blocked`; `unit-price` present and above zero; `inventory` above zero; `quantity-on-purchase-order` when inventory is zero; and whether `description` reasonably agrees with the Akeneo `product-name`.

**Step 4: Report**

Give a verdict of Ready, Needs attention or Not in ERP, followed by a short table of each check with the Akeneo value, the Business Central value and pass or fail.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `akeneo-get-product` is on the Akeneo server; `business-central-get-item` is on the Business Central server.
* Read-only. Do not call `business-central-update-item`, `akeneo-update-product` or any other write tool.

**Validation:**

* If more than one product or item matches, list them and stop.
* If the two systems disagree (for example enabled in Akeneo but blocked in Business Central), report both values and do not decide which is right.
