The problem
Net position worked out across five screens
To answer whether a product can be sold, someone checks Akeneo, then the Business Central item, vendors and open purchase and sales orders. The net position is worked out by hand, and numbers do not always agree.
Without PopdockAI
- Check the product in Akeneo
- Open the Business Central item card
- Read vendors and open orders separately
- Work out the net position by hand
With PopdockAI
- Product confirmed in Akeneo
- Inventory, committed sales and incoming purchases read
- Net position, vendors and soonest receipt shown
- Disagreements shown, none found never read as zero

**Objective:** Build a supply and demand picture for the product `{product-identifier}`, looking back `{lookback-days}` days for sales lines (default 90).
**Step 1: Confirm the product in Akeneo**
Call `akeneo-get-product` (Akeneo server) with `identifier` set to `{product-identifier}`. Keep `product-name`, `brand`, `family` and `enabled`. If nothing matches, stop.
**Step 2: Find the item and its vendor in Business Central**
Call `business-central-get-item` (Business Central server) with `item-number` set to `{product-identifier}`. Keep `inventory`, `quantity-on-sales-order`, `quantity-on-purchase-order`, `vendor-number` and `vendor-name`. Then call `business-central-get-vendor-item` with `item-number` set to the same value to list every vendor that supplies it with `vendor-item-number`. If there is no item, report the product as absent from Business Central and stop.
**Step 3: Pull the open lines**
Call `business-central-get-purchase-transaction-line` with `number` set to the item number and `document-type` Order, and `business-central-get-sales-transaction-line` with `number` set to the item number, `document-type` Order, and `shipment-date.from` set to today minus `{lookback-days}` days. Use only `document-number`, `quantity`, `outstanding-quantity`, `expected-receipt-date` and `shipment-date` from them.
**Step 4: Report**
Product summary from Akeneo, then inventory, committed sales quantity, incoming purchase quantity and the net position, then the vendor list and the soonest expected receipt.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Akeneo tool: `akeneo-get-product`. Business Central tools: `business-central-get-item`, `business-central-get-vendor-item`, `business-central-get-purchase-transaction-line`, `business-central-get-sales-transaction-line`.
* Read-only. Do not call `business-central-update-item` or `akeneo-update-product`.
**Validation:**
* If a line list is empty, say none found; do not infer zero demand from a failed call.
* If line totals disagree with `quantity-on-sales-order` or `quantity-on-purchase-order`, show both numbers.Who it's for
