The problem

SKUs found missing only when an order fails

Product data managers compare the Akeneo catalog with the Business Central item list in spreadsheets. SKUs that never reached the ERP are found when an order fails, and near matches pass for real ones.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export enabled products from Akeneo
  • Search Business Central for each SKU
  • Try descriptions when the SKU is not found
  • Treat a near match as confirmed

With PopdockAI

  • Enabled products read from Akeneo
  • Each SKU matched exactly, then once by description
  • Confirmed, possible and no item kept apart
  • Stops on an error rather than reporting partial results

Prompt
**Objective:** Find Akeneo products for brand `{brand}` (default: all brands) that have no Business Central item, up to `{max-products}` products (default 50).

**Step 1: Read the products from Akeneo**

Call `akeneo-get-product` (Akeneo server) with `brand` set to `{brand}` if given, `enabled` true, and `max-records` set to `{max-products}`. Keep `identifier`, `product-name`, `brand`, `family` and `uuid` for each product. If nothing comes back, say so and stop.

**Step 2: Look each identifier up in Business Central**

For each product call `business-central-get-item` (Business Central server) with `item-number` set to the product `identifier`, and `company` set to `{company}` if given. The Akeneo `identifier` (the SKU) is matched to the Business Central `item-number`. Match exactly; do not guess near matches. If a product has no exact match, try once with `description.contains` set to its `product-name` and mark any hit as a possible match, not a confirmed one.

**Step 3: Report**

Give three lists: products with a confirmed item, products with a possible match only (show both identifiers), and products with no item at all. For matched pairs show `item-number`, `blocked`, `unit-price` and `inventory`. End with counts for each list.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `akeneo-get-product` is on the Akeneo server; `business-central-get-item` is on the Business Central server. Both servers must be connected.
* This is read-only. Do not call `business-central-create-item`, `business-central-update-item`, `akeneo-add-product`, `akeneo-update-product` or `akeneo-delete-product`.
* Never modify or create anything to close a gap; only report it.

**Validation:**

* If Business Central returns more than one item for an identifier, list them all and flag the product as ambiguous.
* If a tool returns an error, say which server it came from and stop rather than reporting partial results as complete.
