Set up new Stripe customers in Sage Intacct in one approved batch
For finance teams who need weekly Stripe sign-ups ready to invoice in Sage Intacct, without duplicate spellings, by asking their AI assistant.

The problem
Every Stripe sign-up retyped into the ledger
New customers sign up through Stripe every week, and each one has to be set up in Sage Intacct before they can be invoiced or reported on. Retyping names and addresses is slow, and a slightly different spelling creates a duplicate.
Without PopdockAI
- List new customers in Stripe
- Search Sage Intacct for each by email and name
- Decide whether a similar name is the same company
- Retype each new customer by hand
With PopdockAI
- New Stripe customers checked by email and name
- Case, punctuation and suffixes like Inc ignored when matching
- Possible matches shown apart and never created
- Only approved customers created, each read back

**Objective:** Find Stripe customers created on or after {created-from} (if blank, 30 days before today) that have no Sage Intacct customer, and create them in Intacct once the user approves the list. Name filter: {name-contains} (if blank, no filter). Payment term for new customers: {payment-term} (if blank, leave it to the Intacct default).
**Step 1: List the Stripe customers**
Call `stripe-get-customer` with `created.from` set to the start date, `max-records` 200, and `name.contains` if a name filter was given. Skip customers with no `name`, and list them at the end as skipped.
**Step 2: Check each one in Intacct**
For each Stripe customer, call `intacct-get-customer` with `customer-name.contains` set to the first word or two of its `name`. The customer already exists when an Intacct customer has the same `email` (ignoring case), or the same name after ignoring case, punctuation, and suffixes such as Inc, LLC and Ltd. A close but unequal name is a **possible match**: never create it.
**Step 3: Propose, then wait**
Show a table of the customers you intend to create: name, print-as (the same as the name), email, phone, city, state and payment term. Show the possible matches in a separate table. Ask the user to approve all, approve some, or cancel, and stop until they answer. Create nothing before they approve.
**Step 4: Create the approved customers**
For each approved customer, call `intacct-create-customer` once with:
* `name` and `print-as`: the Stripe `name`
* `email` and `phone`: the Stripe `email` and `phone`
* `city` and `state`: the Stripe `address-city` and `address-state`
* `payment-term`: the payment term, if one was given
Leave `customer-id` blank so Intacct numbers the customer. If the first create fails because a customer ID is required, stop and ask the user how IDs should be formed. If any other create fails, record the error and carry on with the rest.
**Step 5: Confirm**
For each created customer, call `intacct-get-customer` with the returned `customer-id` and check the name and email. Report three tables: created (name, new Intacct `customer-id`, record number), not created (with the error), and skipped or possible matches.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools named stripe-... are on the stripe server and only read. Tools named intacct-... are on the intacct server. Both servers must be connected. If a tool from one of them is unavailable, say which server is not connected and stop.
* The only write is `intacct-create-customer`, once per approved customer. Do not call `intacct-update-customer`, `intacct-create-contact` or any other Intacct create or update tool. Do not repeat a create that returned a customer ID.
* Never use the Stripe `customer-id` (cus_...) as the Intacct `customer-id`.
* Pass `company` to Intacct tools only when the user names an Intacct company.
**Validation:**
* If every Stripe customer already exists in Intacct, say so and stop.
* If Intacct returns no customers at all for several lookups in a row, stop and say the Intacct connection or company may be wrong, rather than proposing to create everyone.Who it's for

How it works
What PopdockAI does when you ask
You choose a start date and your AI assistant checks every new Stripe customer against Sage Intacct. You approve all, some or none, and it stops if Intacct returns nothing rather than propose everyone.
01
Ask
You choose a start date, and optionally a name filter and payment term.
02
Match
It lists new Stripe customers and checks each in Sage Intacct by email and name.
03
Approve
You approve all, some or none, with possible matches shown separately.
04
Create
It creates the approved customers and reads each one back.
