The problem

A link gets written off as dead because a report was cut short

Before tidying a Bitly account you need to know which links have stopped earning clicks and when each was last used. Checking links one by one is slow, and a link is easily written off as dead because a report was cut short.

Without PopdockAI

  • Open links one at a time
  • Check recent clicks for each
  • Hunt back for the last month with clicks
  • Trust a report that was cut short

With PopdockAI

  • Every unarchived link is checked against recent clicks
  • Links too new to judge are skipped
  • The last month with clicks is found, or never clicked is marked
  • Truncated data is reread first, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** List every unarchived bitlink in `{group-name}` (default: all groups) that has had no clicks in the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 90), as candidates for archiving.

**Step 1: The population**

Call `bitly-get-bitlink` with `archived` = false, and `group-name` when given. Raise `max-records` as needed to get them all. Exclude links whose `created-date` falls inside the lookback window; they are too new to judge.

**Step 2: Recent activity**

Call `bitly-get-click-day` with `archived-link` = false, `date.from` = today minus `{lookback-days}` days, `date.to` = today, and `group-name` when given. Collect the set of `link` values that have any clicks.

**Step 3: Find the dormant links**

A link from Step 1 with no row in Step 2 is dormant. For each, call `bitly-get-click-month` filtered by `link` (no `year` filter) to find the last month it had clicks, if ever.

**Step 4: Report**

A table sorted by last-click month, oldest first: link, title, long-url, tags, created-date, last month with clicks (or "never").

Then a short summary: how many links were checked, how many are dormant, how many have never been clicked.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Do not call `bitly-add-bitlink` or `bitly-update-bitlink`. This prompt is read-only. To archive the links found here, the user can run the `archive-dormant-bitlinks` prompt.
* Never call a link dormant because a tool errored or returned a truncated set. If `bitly-get-click-day` hits its `max-records` limit, raise it and call again before concluding.

**Validation:**

* If Step 1 returns nothing, say there are no unarchived bitlinks in scope and stop.
* If `{group-name}` matches no group, call `bitly-get-group` with `name.contains` to suggest the closest names, then stop.
