The problem
Web orders missing from NetSuite surface at month end
Orders taken on the web are meant to reach NetSuite, but nobody checks that they did. Missing or mismatched orders then show up at month end as revenue gaps that have to be traced back by hand.
Without PopdockAI
- Export Shopify orders for the period
- Search NetSuite sales orders and cash sales one by one
- Match on email, date and total when numbers differ
- Trace the revenue gap at month end
With PopdockAI
- Shopify orders are read with totals, payment status and cancellations
- Each is found in sales orders or cash sales by number or details
- Orders are grouped as same total, different total or not found
- Ambiguous matches are flagged, and nothing is changed

**Objective:** Find Shopify orders placed from {from-date} to {to-date} (default the last 7 days) that cannot be found in NetSuite, or whose total differs, checking up to {max-records} orders (default 50).
**Step 1: Read orders from Shopify**
Call `shopify-get-order` (Shopify server) with `created-at.from` set to {from-date}, `created-at.to` set to {to-date} and `max-records` set to {max-records}. Keep `order-id`, `name`, `order-number`, `email`, `total-price`, `financial-status` and `cancelled-at`.
**Step 2: Find each order in NetSuite**
For each order, call `netsuite-get-salesorder` (NetSuite server) with `document-number` set to the Shopify `name`, and if nothing matches, set it to `order-number`. If still nothing, call `netsuite-get-cashsale` (NetSuite server) with `sale-number` set the same way. If the order number is not used as the NetSuite document number in this account, say so after the first few misses and match instead on `customer-email` with `date.from` and `date.to` set to the order date, comparing `total`.
**Step 3: Report**
A table of orders grouped by outcome: found with the same total, found with a different total, and not found in NetSuite. Show Shopify `name`, `email`, `total-price`, `financial-status`, and the NetSuite `document-number` and `total` where found. List cancelled orders separately. End with counts and the total value not found in NetSuite.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools whose names start with netsuite- are on the NetSuite server; tools whose names start with shopify- are on the Shopify server. Both servers must be connected.
* This is a read-only job. Do not call any tool whose name starts with netsuite-add-, netsuite-update-, shopify-add- or shopify-update-, and never create, change or delete a record on either side.
* Report only what the tools return. Do not estimate or invent figures; totals are sums of rows you actually retrieved, and say so.
* If a read returns the maximum number of rows, say the result may be truncated and suggest narrowing the filters.
* Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Where an input is blank, use the default stated in the Objective.
**Validation:**
* If the first read returns nothing, say so and stop rather than guessing.
* If a lookup on the other system returns more than one record, list them and mark the row ambiguous instead of choosing one.
* If a lookup returns nothing, report the record as present in one system and absent from the other, and continue with the next row.
* If the two systems disagree on a value, show both values side by side and do not decide which is right.Who it's for

Revenue accountants
Close without a hunt for missing orders
Orders not in NetSuite, or there with a different total, are found as the month goes rather than at close.
Check Shopify orders from 1 to 15 November against NetSuite and list any missing or with different totals.
Finance managers
Know the value of what is missing
The value of missing orders is totalled, so you can judge how big the gap is at a glance.
What is the total value of last month's Shopify orders that never reached NetSuite?
Integration admins
Catch sync failures early
A short daily check shows which orders the integration skipped, with cancelled orders kept apart.
Did all of yesterday's Shopify orders make it into NetSuite as sales orders or cash sales?
