The problem
The store and the ERP tell different billing stories
To answer a billing question, an agent opens the web store for orders and the ERP for invoices and payments. The two often tell different stories about what was ordered, paid and owed, and spotting the difference takes careful reading.
Without PopdockAI
- Find the customer and orders in Shopify
- Find the same customer in NetSuite
- Read sales orders, invoices, payments and balance
- Compare the two stories by eye
With PopdockAI
- The Shopify customer and orders are read
- The NetSuite customer, sales orders, invoices and payments are read
- Counts, totals, unpaid amounts and balance are compared
- One-sided records are flagged, read-only on both

**Objective:** Build a combined account view for the customer with email {email}, looking back {lookback-days} days (default 90).
**Step 1: Shopify side**
Call `shopify-get-customer` (Shopify server) with `email` set to {email}. If more than one matches, list them and stop. Keep `customer-id`, `name`, `orders-count` and `total-spent`. Call `shopify-get-order` (Shopify server) with `customer-id` set to it and `created-at.from` set to the start of the lookback. Keep `name`, `total-price`, `financial-status` and `fulfillment-status`.
**Step 2: NetSuite side**
Call `netsuite-get-customer` (NetSuite server) with `email` set to {email}. If nothing matches, report the customer as in Shopify only and go to Step 3. Keep `internal-id`, `name` and `balance`. With that `internal-id` as `customer-id`, call `netsuite-get-salesorder`, `netsuite-get-invoice` and `netsuite-get-customerpayment` (all NetSuite server) with `date.from` set to the start of the lookback.
**Step 3: Report**
Two short sections, one per system, then a comparison: count and total of orders against sales orders, unpaid invoice amount against Shopify orders still pending payment, and balance. Flag anything that exists on one side only and any name difference between the two customer records.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools whose names start with netsuite- are on the NetSuite server; tools whose names start with shopify- are on the Shopify server. Both servers must be connected.
* This is a read-only job. Do not call any tool whose name starts with netsuite-add-, netsuite-update-, shopify-add- or shopify-update-, and never create, change or delete a record on either side.
* Report only what the tools return. Do not estimate or invent figures; totals are sums of rows you actually retrieved, and say so.
* If a read returns the maximum number of rows, say the result may be truncated and suggest narrowing the filters.
* Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Where an input is blank, use the default stated in the Objective.
**Validation:**
* If the first read returns nothing, say so and stop rather than guessing.
* If a lookup on the other system returns more than one record, list them and mark the row ambiguous instead of choosing one.
* If a lookup returns nothing, report the record as present in one system and absent from the other, and continue with the next row.
* If the two systems disagree on a value, show both values side by side and do not decide which is right.Who it's for

Support agents
Answer I already paid with facts
Orders, invoices and payments from both systems side by side show what really happened.
Trace priya@contoso.com across Shopify and NetSuite. She says she paid but has a balance.
Accounts receivable
Find records on one side only
Orders or invoices that exist in only one system are flagged, so you can fix the gap.
Which of sam@fabrikam.com's orders in the last 180 days exist in only Shopify or only NetSuite?
Customer service managers
Settle disputes quickly
Mismatches are shown rather than hidden, so escalations are resolved from facts.
Compare Shopify orders pending payment with unpaid NetSuite invoices for jordan@northwindtraders.com.
How it works
What PopdockAI does when you ask
You give an email, and your AI assistant traces the customer through Shopify and NetSuite. It shows values side by side without deciding which is right and flags possible truncation.
01
Ask
You give the customer email and, optionally, a look-back in days.
02
Read Shopify
It finds the customer and reads their orders, stopping if several customers match.
03
Read NetSuite
It finds the customer and reads sales orders, invoices, payments and balance.
04
Compare
You get both views side by side, with one-sided records and mismatches flagged.
