Know which webinar registrants are customers, leads or new
For marketing teams who want GoTo Webinar registrants checked against Dynamics 365 Sales before the list goes to sales.

The problem
Registrant lists reach sales unchecked and full of known names
Sales wants to know which webinar registrants are customers, leads already being worked, or new names. Checking hundreds of emails against Dynamics 365 Sales one at a time is not practical, so the list goes over unchecked.
Without PopdockAI
- Export registrants and attendees from GoTo Webinar
- Look up each email as a contact, then a lead
- Note owners for the matches
- Hand over a list full of known names
With PopdockAI
- Registrants are read and attendees marked
- Each email is matched as a contact, then a lead
- Attendees are checked first, up to 50, with the rest counted
- Three tables with owners and duplicates flagged, nothing created

**Objective:** For the GoTo Webinar webinar `{webinar-name}` (the most recent past session unless `{webinar-date}` is given), match every registrant to Dynamics 365 Sales and report who is already a contact, who is a lead, and who is not in the CRM at all.
**Step 1: Identify the webinar (goto-webinar)**
Call `goto-webinar-get-webinar` with webinar-name.contains set to `{webinar-name}`. If `{webinar-date}` is given, set date.from and date.to to it. Otherwise set date.to to today and use the most recent past session. If nothing matches, stop and say so. If more than one distinct webinar key matches, list each with its name, date and webinar key, and ask which one to use. Keep the webinar key, name and date.
**Step 2: Collect the people (goto-webinar)**
Call `goto-webinar-get-registrant` with the webinar key and max-records 500, then `goto-webinar-get-attendee` with the webinar key and max-records 500. Mark each registrant as attended when their email appears among the attendees, and keep total-time-attended.
**Step 3: Look each person up (dynamics-365-sales)**
For each distinct email, call `dynamics-365-sales-get-contacts` with `email` set to it. Only if no contact comes back, call `dynamics-365-sales-get-leads` with `email` set to it. If neither returns a record, the person is not in the CRM.
**Step 4: Report**
A one-line summary: registered, attended, contacts, leads, not in CRM. Then three tables:
* Contacts: full name, email, attended (yes/no), time attended, parent customer, owner
* Leads: name, email, attended, company name, status, owner
* Not in CRM: first and last name, email, attended, registration date
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* `goto-webinar-*` tools are on the goto-webinar server; `dynamics-365-sales-*` tools are on the dynamics-365-sales server. If a tool from either server is missing, stop and say which server is not connected.
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call `goto-webinar-add-registrant` or `goto-webinar-delete-registrant`, and do not call any Dynamics 365 Sales create or update tool (any tool whose name starts with dynamics-365-sales-create- or dynamics-365-sales-update-), such as `dynamics-365-sales-create-lead`, `dynamics-365-sales-create-task` or `dynamics-365-sales-update-contact`.
* Match email addresses case-insensitively after trimming spaces. GoTo Webinar and Dynamics 365 Sales share no other key, so never match two people on name alone; a name-only similarity may be mentioned as "possible match" but is not a match.
* If there are more than 50 distinct emails, look up attendees first, then no-shows, stop after 50, and say how many were not checked.
**Validation:**
* If the webinar has no registrants, say so and stop.
* If one email matches more than one contact, list every match and flag it as a duplicate in Dynamics 365 Sales.
* A registrant with no email goes in Not in CRM, marked "no email".Who it's for
One answer, three teams that use it
Sales managers
Route registrants to the right owner
Contacts and leads come with their owners, so follow-up goes to the person who already knows them.
Which registrants for the Contoso pricing webinar are existing Dynamics 365 Sales contacts, and who owns them?
Marketing managers
Measure how many new names a webinar drew
A summary of contacts, leads and new names shows the webinar's reach beyond your database.
How many registrants for the Fabrikam roadmap webinar are new to Dynamics 365 Sales?
Sales development reps
Work only the people nobody owns yet
New names are separated out, so you prospect them without stepping on an owner's account.
List Northwind Traders webinar registrants who are neither contacts nor leads in Dynamics 365 Sales.
