The problem

A reconciliation that is out of date at once

Catalog and ERP teams compare Akeneo exports with NetSuite item lists by hand, and records on only one side go unnoticed. The comparison is repeated every time the catalog changes.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export enabled products from Akeneo
  • Export items from NetSuite
  • Match SKUs in a spreadsheet
  • Redo it all after the next change

With PopdockAI

  • Enabled products looked up as NetSuite items
  • A sample of NetSuite items checked against Akeneo
  • Matched, Akeneo only and NetSuite only listed
  • Several results listed, never picked, nothing changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Find which enabled products in the Akeneo catalog have no matching NetSuite item, and which sampled NetSuite items have no Akeneo product, optionally limited to the product family {family}. Default to 50 records per side.

**Step 1: List the catalog products (akeneo)**

Call `akeneo-get-product` with enabled set to true, family set to {family} when one is given, and max-records set to {record-limit} (default 50). Keep identifier, product-name, family and brand for each. If nothing comes back, say so and stop.

**Step 2: Look each SKU up in the ERP (netsuite)**

For each product, call `netsuite-get-item` with item-number set to the product identifier. Record the match with its internal-id, description and type, or record no match.

**Step 3: Sample the ERP side**

Call `netsuite-get-item` with max-records set to {record-limit} (default 50). For each item-number returned, call `akeneo-get-product` with identifier set to it, and note the items with no product.

**Step 4: Report**

Three lists: matched SKUs, in Akeneo only, in NetSuite only (sample). Give counts first, then a table of SKU, name, family and the side it is missing from. Say clearly that the NetSuite-only list is a sample, not the full item list.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Tools starting akeneo- are on the akeneo server (the product catalog, PIM). Tools starting netsuite- are on the netsuite server (the ERP). Both servers must be connected.
* The join key is the Akeneo product identifier (the SKU) and the NetSuite item-number. Compare them exactly first, then trimmed and case-insensitive; report any record that only matches that loose way as a format mismatch rather than a match.
* This prompt is read-only. Never call any akeneo-add-*, akeneo-update-*, akeneo-delete-*, akeneo-submit-* or akeneo-start-* tool, and never call any netsuite-add-* or netsuite-update-* tool.

**Validation:**

* If a lookup returns more than one record for a SKU, list them and do not pick one.
* If either side returns nothing at all, say which server returned nothing and stop.

Who it's for

One answer, three teams that use it

Data analysts

Measure catalog and ERP alignment

Counts on each side show how well the two lists agree.

How many enabled Akeneo products match a NetSuite item by SKU?

Catalog managers

Find products missing from NetSuite

Products only in Akeneo are listed so items can be created.

Which enabled home products are not NetSuite items?

ERP administrators

Find NetSuite items with no catalog record

A sample of items missing from Akeneo shows the reverse gap.

Check 100 NetSuite items against Akeneo and list those with no product.
