**Objective:** Check that the tax on Business Central posted sales invoice `{invoice-number}` agrees with the Avalara AvaTax transaction recorded for it.
**Step 1: Read the invoice in Business Central**
Call `business-central-get-posted-sales-invoice` with `invoice-number` set to `{invoice-number}`. If nothing is returned, say so and stop. Compute the invoice tax as `total-amount-including-tax` minus `total-amount`. Keep `sell-to-customer-number`, `posting-date`, `currency-code` and `total-amount`.
**Step 2: Read the invoice lines in Business Central**
Call `business-central-get-posted-sales-invoice-line` with `invoice-number` set to `{invoice-number}`. Keep each line's `line-number`, `number`, `description` and `amount`.
**Step 3: Find the transaction in Avalara AvaTax**
Call `avalara-avatax-get-transaction` with `code` set to `{invoice-number}`. If it returns nothing, retry with `customer-code` set to the Business Central `sell-to-customer-number` and `date.from` and `date.to` both set to the invoice `posting-date`, and keep only transactions whose `total-amount` equals the invoice `total-amount`. If still nothing, report the invoice as having no AvaTax transaction and stop. If several match, list them and stop.
Then call `avalara-avatax-get-transaction-line` with `transaction-id` set to the transaction `id`, and keep each line's `line-number`, `line-amount` and `tax`.
**Step 4: Report**
Give a header comparison: invoice tax in Business Central against `total-tax` in AvaTax, `total-amount` against `total-amount`, and the AvaTax `status` and `document-type`. Then a per-line table of line number, Business Central amount, AvaTax `line-amount` and AvaTax `tax`. State the difference in the invoice currency and whether it is within `{tolerance}` (default 0.01).
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools whose names start with avalara-avatax- are on the avalara-avatax MCP server; tools whose names start with business-central- are on the business-central MCP server. Both servers must be connected.
* This prompt is read-only. Never call any create, update, delete, add, void, commit, adjust, refund or other action tool on either server.
* Report what the two systems show. Do not present results as tax advice or as a filed return.
**Validation:**
* An AvaTax `status` of Saved or Temporary means the tax was calculated but not committed; say so rather than calling it a mismatch.
* If the currencies differ (`currency-code` against `currency-code`), report that and do not compare amounts.
* If line counts differ, list the unmatched lines on each side.Who it's for
