The problem

Customer details that disagree between store and email

The same customer can have one phone number and company in WooCommerce and another in Constant Contact. Spotting differences means comparing records field by field, and formatting noise hides the real conflicts.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export customers and contacts
  • Compare names, phones and companies field by field
  • Ignore formatting differences by eye
  • Miss the real conflicts in the noise

With PopdockAI

  • Customers and contacts are matched by email only
  • Case, phone punctuation and state names are normalized
  • Blanks are reported as gaps, not conflicts
  • Conflicts and gaps are tabled, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** Report where a WooCommerce customer and the matching Constant Contact contact disagree on name, phone, company or state, for the customer `{email}` if given, otherwise for customers created in the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 90).

**Step 1: Read the WooCommerce side**

If `{email}` is given, call `woocommerce-get-customer` with `email` = `{email}`. Otherwise call it with `created-date.from` = today minus the lookback, `max-records` 200. Keep `email`, `first-name`, `last-name`, `billing-phone`, `billing-company`, `billing-state`, `billing-country`.

**Step 2: Read the Constant Contact side**

For each customer, call `constant-contact-get-contact` with `email-address` = their email. Keep `first-name`, `last-name`, `phone-number`, `company-name`, `state`, `country`. A customer with no contact goes in a "not in Constant Contact" list and is not compared.

**Step 3: Compare**

Compare first name, last name, phone, company and state. Before comparing, normalise: trim and ignore case for text; strip spaces, dashes, dots and brackets from phone numbers and ignore a leading country code; treat a two-letter state code and the full state name as the same (for example `CA` and `California`). Treat a value that is blank on one side and present on the other as "missing in" that system, not as a conflict.

**Step 4: Report**

* Counts: compared, matching, with conflicts, with gaps only, not in Constant Contact
* A table of conflicts: email, field, WooCommerce value, Constant Contact value
* A table of gaps: email, field, which system is missing it
* Do not decide which side is right. Note that WooCommerce holds billing details the shopper typed at checkout, which are usually more recent.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* Tools whose names start with woocommerce- are on the woocommerce MCP server; tools whose names start with constant-contact- are on the constant-contact MCP server. If a tool from either server is missing, stop and tell the user that both servers must be connected.
* Match records by email address only: WooCommerce `email` / `customer-email` against Constant Contact `email-address`. Trim and lower-case both sides before comparing. Never match on name alone.
* This prompt is read-only. Do NOT call any write tool on either server. On Constant Contact that is `constant-contact-add-contact`, `constant-contact-update-contact`, `constant-contact-add-contact-note`, `constant-contact-add-contact-list`, `constant-contact-update-contact-list`, `constant-contact-add-contact-tag`, `constant-contact-update-contact-tag`, `constant-contact-add-campaign`, `constant-contact-update-campaign`, `constant-contact-resend-campaign-to-non-openers`. On WooCommerce that is `woocommerce-add-coupon`, `woocommerce-update-coupon`, `woocommerce-add-order`, `woocommerce-update-order`, `woocommerce-add-order-note`, `woocommerce-add-refund`, `woocommerce-add-customer`, `woocommerce-update-customer`, `woocommerce-add-product`, `woocommerce-update-product`, `woocommerce-update-product-variation`, `woocommerce-send-order-details`.
* To fix a contact afterwards, the user can run the `update-contact-details` prompt on the constant-contact server or `update-customer-details` on the woocommerce server.

**Validation:**

* If `{email}` is given and is not a WooCommerce customer, say so and stop.
* If nothing differs, say so in one line.
