The problem
Failed payments hide orders that shipped unpaid
Failed payments in Shopify are scattered across individual orders, and the real question is which of them never recovered. Checking each order for a later charge takes time, and an order that shipped without being paid can slip through.
Without PopdockAI
- Search transactions for failed and errored charges
- Open each order to look for a later success
- Check whether unpaid orders already shipped
- Guess at patterns by gateway or card
With PopdockAI
- Every failed and errored payment in the period is collected
- Each order is checked for a later successful charge or paid status
- Unrecovered orders that already shipped come first
- Patterns by gateway, error and card are shown, read-only

**Objective:** Report every failed or errored payment transaction in the last `{lookback-days}` days (default 7), explain the patterns, and show which of those orders are still unpaid. Gateway filter: `{gateway}` (default all gateways).
**Step 1: Pull the failures**
Call `shopify-get-transaction` filtered by `processed-at.from` (today minus the lookback) and `status` set to the failure value the tool's schema lists; call it again for the error value. If `{gateway}` is given, also filter by `gateway`. Keep order-id, order-number, kind, gateway, error-code, card-payment-company, shop-amount, customer-name and processed-at.
**Step 2: Check whether each order recovered**
For each distinct order-id, call `shopify-get-order` filtered by `order-id` and note financial-status, total-outstanding, fulfillment-status and cancelled-at. Then call `shopify-get-transaction` filtered by `order-id` and check for a later successful transaction of the same kind.
* Recovered: a later successful sale or capture, or financial status now paid.
* Unrecovered: still unpaid, partially paid, or total-outstanding above zero.
* Unrecovered but fulfilled: goods shipped without payment; list these first.
**Step 3: Report**
* Totals: failed transactions, distinct orders, value failed, value unrecovered
* Patterns: counts by gateway, by error-code and by card company, with the top error codes explained in plain language where the code is self-explanatory
* Action list: unrecovered orders as a table of order number, customer, amount outstanding, error-code, fulfillment status, days since failure
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* This prompt is read-only. Do not call `shopify-update-order`, `shopify-update-customer` or any other add or update tool.
* Do not diagnose a gateway outage from a handful of failures. Call it a pattern only when one gateway or error-code accounts for most failures on the same day.
* Report amounts in the currency returned. Do not convert.
**Validation:**
* If there are no failed or errored transactions, say so and stop.
* If `{gateway}` matches nothing, rerun without it and list the gateway names that appear.Who it's for

Unrecovered orders that were already fulfilled come first, because they are money out the door.
Show unpaid Shopify orders from this month that shipped after a failed payment.

Patterns by gateway and error code show when failures come from one provider rather than customers.
Are failed Shopify payments this week concentrated on one gateway or error code?
