The problem
Bulk updates that overwrite the wrong fields
Dynamics 365 Business Central holds the true stock and prices, but WooCommerce has to be updated to match. Doing it by hand is slow, and a careless bulk update can overwrite the wrong fields or push tax-inclusive prices into the store.
Without PopdockAI
- Export stock and prices from Business Central
- Match SKUs to products and variations
- Update each one by hand
- Push tax-inclusive prices by mistake
With PopdockAI
- Published products and variations are matched by SKU
- Only differences are listed, and stock is never negative
- Missing, blocked and ambiguous SKUs are skipped and named
- A shared percentage gap stops it to ask about tax

**Objective:** Bring WooCommerce products in line with Business Central, which is the source of truth. Sync {sync-fields} (stock, price or both; default stock) for published products in category {category} (if blank, all categories). Use Business Central company {company} (if blank, leave `company` off).
**Step 1: Collect the WooCommerce SKUs**
Call `woocommerce-get-product` with `status` publish, `max-records` 100, and `categories.contains` set to {category} if given. For each variable product, call `woocommerce-get-product-variation` with its `product-id` and work with the variations instead of the parent. Keep product-id, product-variation-id (for variations), sku, name, regular-price and stock-quantity.
**Step 2: Read Business Central**
For each SKU, call `business-central-get-item` with `item-number` set to the SKU, then with `gtin` set to the SKU if the first finds nothing. Keep inventory, unit-price and blocked.
**Step 3: Build the change list**
* **Stock** (when syncing stock): only where WooCommerce stock-quantity is set, meaning stock is managed. The new quantity is Business Central inventory rounded down to a whole number, and never below zero. List it only if it differs from WooCommerce.
* **Price** (when syncing price): the new regular price is Business Central unit-price. List it only if it differs by more than 0.01.
* Skip, and list separately: SKUs with no Business Central item, items that are blocked, and products with no SKU.
If most price changes are the same percentage, stop before Step 4 and ask the user whether one system includes tax, instead of syncing prices.
**Step 4: Confirm**
Show a table of SKU, name, field, current WooCommerce value and new value, plus the skipped list. Wait for the user to confirm. They may exclude rows.
**Step 5: Update**
For a simple product, call `woocommerce-update-product` with `product-id` and only the changed `stock-quantity` and/or `regular-price`. For a variation, call `woocommerce-update-product-variation` with `product-id`, `variation-id` (the product-variation-id) and the changed values. One call per product or variation.
**Step 6: Confirm and report**
Re-read the changed products with `woocommerce-get-product` or `woocommerce-get-product-variation` filtered by `sku`, and report each change as applied or failed, with the skipped list at the end.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools whose names start with woocommerce- are on the woocommerce server; tools whose names start with business-central- are on the business-central server.
* Only `woocommerce-update-product` and `woocommerce-update-product-variation` may write, and only after confirmation. Pass only stock-quantity and regular-price. Never change status, name, sale-price, manage-stock or stock-status.
* Never write to Business Central. Do not call `business-central-update-item` or `business-central-create-item`.
* Do not unpublish products for blocked items; report them instead.
**Validation:**
* Business Central inventory is summed across all locations. Say so in the confirmation step.
* If a SKU matches more than one Business Central item, skip it and list it as ambiguous.
* If nothing needs changing, say so and stop without calling any update tool.Who it's for
