The problem

Nobody can say what changed on the site last week

Knowing what changed on a Webflow site means checking collections, CMS items and pages separately, then working out which edits are still unpublished. It is hard to answer quickly when someone asks what went out.

Without PopdockAI

  • Check collections, items and pages separately
  • Sort each by last updated date
  • Work out which edits were published
  • Piece together an answer from memory

With PopdockAI

  • Changed collections, items and pages are read for the range
  • Items are classed new, edited or archived
  • Publish status is checked for each
  • Unpublished edits are listed, and who changed what is never invented

Prompt
**Objective:** Report every Webflow content change between `{from-date}` and `{to-date}` (default today), across collections, CMS items and pages.

**Step 1: Collections**

Call `webflow-get-collection` with `last-updated.from` set to `{from-date}` and `last-updated.to` set to `{to-date}`. These are schema or settings changes. Separately call it with no date filter so you have every collection's display name for Step 2.

**Step 2: CMS items**

For each collection, call `webflow-get-collection-item` with its collection-id, `last-updated.from` set to `{from-date}` and `last-updated.to` set to `{to-date}`. Classify each item as New (created-on within the range), Archived (archived = true), or Edited (everything else), and note whether it has been published since its last update.

**Step 3: Pages**

Call `webflow-get-page` with `last-updated.from` set to `{from-date}` and `last-updated.to` set to `{to-date}`.

**Step 4: Report**

* A headline line: counts of changed collections, new items, edited items, archived items and changed pages.
* Collections changed: display name and last updated.
* Items, grouped by collection: a table with columns Item name, Change (New, Edited, Archived), Last updated, Published since update (yes or no).
* Pages changed: a table with columns Page title, Published path, Draft, Last updated.
* A closing list of edits that are not yet published.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* This is read-only. Use only `webflow-get-collection`, `webflow-get-collection-item` and `webflow-get-page`.
* The tools record when something changed, not who changed it or what the old value was. Do not invent authors or before-and-after values.

**Validation:**

* If `{from-date}` is later than `{to-date}`, say so and stop.
* If nothing changed in the range, say so plainly.

How it works
